I'm installing my oil pump gears this weekend and I had two quick questions for those that have done the install themselves:

1) Did you reuse the front engine cover gaskets, or did you remove and clean the area and install new ones? My car only has 6500 miles, if that makes any difference.

2) How much stuff did you remove from the front of the engine bay to give you enough clearance? I don't want to spend too much time removing unnecessary things that I'm just going to have to reinstall later.

Thanks in advance for the help!

1. I did my install at just about 6k miles. I reused all my gaskets without any issue.

2. Follow the guide on SVTPerformance, aside from the timing section. It shows you what you need to remove. But basically the radiator fans come out and that gives you the room you need to work. Not much needs to be taken out for clearance to work. Once the intake and fans are out you'll be surprised how much room there is from those two parts out.

I just did mine ( OPG and crank sprocket) in the garage this week before bolting on my whipple kit. I also uploaded a series of videos that are specific to 2015 cars since the stuff out there tailors to up to 2014 with the timing process.

Hope it helps!
