Adaptive exhaust

Just got 19 gt premium ok options and can't figure out adaptive exhaust.i get to exhaust mode screen with 4 modes,quiet,normal,sport and track.i can only set quiet and normal.i can actually hear the exhaust valves click on these 2vsettings.but I get nothing on sport or track any thoughts.love the car so far.

I'm unsure of what you're asking here - does the "dot" not change showing you have Sport or Track selected now? Is there no difference in sound when you rev it after selecting Sport or Track?

Do you have the digital dash? I have it and if I just want to change the exhaust sound, I hit the Pony button on the steering wheel, and in the menu select exhaust mode and choose what you want. All exhaust options are available when using "normal" driving mode. Some of the exhaust settings are not available in certain driving modes like track. When selecting a driving mode using the toggle switch below the radio, the exhaust will switch to the same exhaust setting so normal will auto select normal exhaust, sport will auto select sport etc. You can then use the exhaust mode from the Pony menu to switch exhaust modes as allowed by the driving mode. Hope this helps.

I'm constantly amazed how people will do days of research for something a stupid as a 10 cent valve stem cap, but can't be bothered to read the (entire) manual for a 50k car. SMH

If you’re hearing it click, my guess is you’re changing the setting with the car off. You won’t hear any clicks going from normal to sport to track. Just drive it and change the settings, you’ll hear the difference. It’s quite noticeable.

So if I understand correctly this is what it is able to operate in

Driving mode normal can be set to any exhaust mode
Sport driving mode can only be sport exhaust
Track can only be track exhaust

What would snow/wet mode be allowed to be in?

You can mix and match drive modes and exhaust modes. I drive in track with sport exhaust and normal gauge mode. You set up my mode however you want.

Sounds like you're doing this with the car off and then starting it. It will only start in normal or quiet, if you try and switch it to sport/track before starting it will almost immediately switch to normal/quiet depending if you have quiet start enabled.

Being an engineer I always check the manual.theres s mention of it on pg101,nothing in index.i even downloaded the manual and did PDF search on both mode and exhaust and couldn't find anything.checked sections suggested sections,still nothing.tried the suggestions made and still no change
What I'm doing us starting car,put car in normal mode (also tried sport).pushed pony button to bring up exhaust mode,click on sport,click ok.no change.only change I can detect us going from quiet to normal.all this is while idling in my driveway.maybe I need to drive the car to get the change.ive seen videos of car idling and exhaust being changed.when I change mode to sport,the exhaust mode screen changes to sport but no change to sound.
Maybe there's another manual,like the Shelby I traded had.

There’s very little audible change at idle. Just go drive it. The difference between normal and sport is how open the valve is at part throttle. At wide open it doesn’t matter what mode you’re in as it will open completely. Track mode just stays open during part throttle acceleration. Adjust while driving and you’ll hear the difference.
