I'm considering pulling the trigger on a new 19 GT PP1, with 301A, Magneride, and Active Exhaust. I prefer the cloth over the 400A leather, but will I regret not getting the heated/cooled seats? Currently live in IL, but relocating to either Denver or Phoenix in the future.

Personally I love the leather seats and use the cooled seats every day here in Denver, one of my favorite features. Go for it, add the the already awesome package list you have going.

My last car had leather, and i swore i would get cloth in my next car. It was hard not to be swayed, and I'm glad i wasn't.

Going through this California summer my back was not sweaty at all, cloth just breaths better, couldn't believe it. Very surprising. During the cold months, sitting in the cloth was not cold in the mornings like leather.

My dad had a 2014 and now has a 2019 Ford F-350, both with heated and cooled seats. Every time i get in them to haul stuff, i start to sweat a bit. The cooled function is cool, and helps, but leather just doesn't breath. NOW if i had to have leather, give me the cooled seats.

The biggest downfall to cloth in my opinion, is it's harder to keep clean. Spills will soak in, sweat will soak in, hair will stick to it. You'll have to shampoo it to clean it. I'm thinking worse case, as realistically how often do people shampoo their seats. Unless your a slob, it shouldn't be a huge issue, but something to think of none the less.

I have a 400A because I wanted the leather and the cooled seats (amongst other options). I live in Houston so I use them a lot.

They could be better but it’s a nice option to have for sure.

Agree with Ghost50, wanted the cooled seats, heck i don't even use or need the heat, i wish Ford and others would give folks the choice on seat > Heat OR cool, maybe not both, and since i run with windows down most of time, its hard for the seat cooling to work good, but if i run the A/C then they work pretty good.

301A w/ cloth Recaros. Couldn't be happier. I have leather heated/cooled seats in my Grand Cherokee. They are nice, but I still prefer cloth.

The cloth seats get neither hot, nor cold. The leather seats have the heating and cooling, because they NEED it. For me, the cloth seats wear (a LOT) better, grip you in corners better, and the seats are like 100LBS lighter, making the car that much lighter.

OP, you did not say but it looks like you will be going manual trans...so you will not be able to remote start the car which also makes this option nice.

The ventilated seats work best once the AC has had time to cool down the interior. It is quite anemic till then.

The cloth seats are comfortable and better quality than the cloth of the old days. If mine start looking bad I will have Katzkins installed.

Haven't seen the mustangs leather but I love my cloth seats. I'm in Az and even with black interior the mustang has been comfortable this summer. It cools off inside faster than my wife's suv with light colored leather. Way quicker...

My 15 had the premium with leather heated and cooled seats. 2 years and 24k miles the seat bottoms looked a little stretched. Cooling feature didn’t work very good. Heated feature did work but it took a long time to feel any significant heat. I usually got to my destination before I felt enough heat.

My 18 went with 301a and really like the cloth seats. Don’t miss the leather seats or the heat/cool features.

every Mustang I have had has been a premium with Leather. for my 18 I got a 301A pp A10 and couldnt be happier. the seats are more comfortable and have no signs of wear or use. leather starts to look poor after a while due to wrinkling and use. my cloth still looks brand new after a year and a half.
