Well Im on the fence... dealer has one on the lot and they are not sure when they will get more... its the spec I want only issue for me is that I prefer to buy cars that have not been in the showroom.

What should I do? is it relatively safe to wait or I could end up with nothing...

Going to have to drop my rating to 7.5/10 waiting for PDI is fine but not when it's not done right lol. Was riding stiff and felt very unstable at high speeds. Found shipping blocks left by Chapman who I know sold a lot of M1s. Now I'm questioning everything else I trusted lol. Vehicle may also already need an alignment, haven't determined yet if it's due to the blocks.

Interesting, my shipping blocks were in my trunk with my car cover. Wasn't impressed with the cleaning, definitely the worst of the new cars I've ever purchased.

it's not like the general manager is going to get his hands dirty servicing something as mundane as a Mustang. the same 'devil may care throw a bucket of dirty water at it" people do that first wash too. I'll bet you 9/10 dealer persons wouldn't bat an eye using the same towel on the body panels as they just used to wipe down the tire sidewalls.

Speaking of tires, yeah no tire shine and they seem to be overinflated? Will do everything myself. As for body cleaning it really is just better you ask dealers in general to not do it so you can do it your own preferred way.

I haven’t ever posted anything in here always just watched the thread to see how everyone else’s order was going and after ordering on 11/6 and not hearing anything other than my order being confirmed 11/6 and my order has been delayed 3/21 I was starting to lose hope on ever getting on of these but I finally I got a scheduled build date this week for 9/19 hopefully it gets here to Chicago before it get too cold. I haven’t really been in here in for a few weeks I really hope all you guys that have been in here from the beginning have gotten scheduled too

I'm doing the same thing and UPS-ing at least 2 of the Cup2's home. At least that is the plan. What ever I can fit in the trunk makes the trip there, the rest get wrapped up and shipped home. I don't really want that tire smell in the cabin for 2000 miles.
See previous post. I already bought PS4S's from a Discount Tire store near my Dealer, and Michelin is having a $110 off a set of 4 tires promo.

Believe it or not, the 4 cup 2s will fit in the back with the rear seat down. I just made the trip from Illinois back to SC picking up my Mach 1 HP. The dealer was nice enough to give me some tire covers to protect the interior. I didn't notice too much rubber smell, but I only drove 700 miles, and not 2000.

I used to autocross without a tire trailer and would carry 4 wheels with r-compound tires inside my Camaro. I bagged them in heavy duty contractor garbage bags (55gal drum size or larger) and it protected the interior. However, I quickly upgraded to a tire trailer as the last thing I want inside of a car during a wreck is loose tires and/or wheels. Regardless, bags work well.

I have a set of 4 cup 2 tires that I would like to sell off of my HP. They were taken off the vehicle with 700 miles on them. If anyone would like a spare set I am more than willing to work with someone on getting them shipped. They also come with 4 tire covers.

Got my email last week confirming a build week of Sept. 5th. Ordered my Mach 1 on June 25th, so not a bad turnaround.
