2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

Long time lurker of the forum, but decided to join up after I got THE e-mail today.

Order confirmation Date: 5/21
Priority Code: 19
Estimated Build Date (If showing): 9/17
Options: Dark Metallic Gray, 700A, HP, Recaros, MT6

My order was placed thru a smaller dealership. They told me 4-6 months for delivery, so far they are on point.

This is for my Ourisman order placed on 6/6/22
My Chapman order, which was placed over two weeks earlier, still nothing.

Someone posted a while back that the best shot you've got is finding a high volume Ford dealer with a relatively low number of Mustang Orders.
That was Ourisman. They are pushing to be a volume leader, but only had 6 M1 orders when I placed mine.
Originally a priority 19 order, but when I asked Jason about getting it bumped up a bit, he moved it all the way to 10.

Chapman?
Placed that order on 5/19/22. Went in at priority 17.
I've checked in a few times, and I was #28 of #38 unscheduled M1 orders they had.
I asked about upping the priority, and they said that doesn't really matter.
Maybe true, but I only got one email today.
Both are central Atlantic region (DC/Philly)

I told both Tom at Chapman and Jason at Ourisman that I had orders placed with both.
First one in wins!

JPJr, I am a Chapman order as well. I was #3 on their list with two HP re-orders in front of me and I just got scheduled today. It sounds like Chapman overall is having issues getting their builds selected. I think they have had 10-12 cars selected from their bank including mine. Great that you have a 2nd option though! Good luck!

Just got off the phone with the dealer and got the vin number and a build date of 9-12-22.

And the stitching trim to match as well. Mach 1 logo with orange stitching and I would have considered keeping the carpet mats in mine

my money is on, broken SQL kept "passing over" orders (insufficient lookback or bad ORDER BY), or Ford policy was artificially sabotaging the scheduling of M1 in general vis a vis GT/EB and now with end-of-production staring them in the face they took the handcuffs off so they'll get built, since there won't be a 2023 run.

So now I debate whether to order one "at the last minute" or hope the bottom falls out of the used M1 market in the next 60 days.

@aham23 Very happy for you. No email for me today. Called FP around noon eastern and was told unscheduled clean. My order date is 3/16 at Granger with Ford confirmation on 3/17. So I expected to be after most people on this forum who have a HP Mach. Looks like I may not make the cut this go around. I think I have one more shot at it next month when they schedule for October. However, like many other folks on here, I am glad to see so many people are getting build dates and moving forward in the process. Hopefully Ford can get them built before winter arrives.

i imagine a few of the late produced M1 orders will find their way to dealer lots. a lot has changed economically since orders were placed back in Feb/March/April. most of which effects a purchase like this; inflation, gas, interest rates..

honestly, hope mine doesn’t get built.. I just picked up a FJG the other week, so if my anti-matter gray gets built I’ll have a little bit of remorse about not holding out for my #1 color choice
