The prices that these Mach 1's are listed at is insane. I guess I'll put mine up for $100,000 to see if I can attract someone with more money than brains.

This thread seems to have derailed 😆. But I check the used market by simply surfing CarMax. Had it not been for the Granger deal, I would not be in a new car market

Best way to pay them back is send everyone you know there. They really are in a different league. The only reason I have my car is because of Zach and his crew

ok, so when are you guys gonna wisen up and order a GT, a TR3160 and have a mechanic swap the trans? :)

I think I'll order a M1 on my birthday mid-july and watch it for shit and giggles.
You keep getting closer and closer! Don’t forget who has been predicting this all along. It’s only a matter of time before you’re driving a Mach. I even reserved your personalized plate knowing your love for the hood vinyl :cwl:

Been saying closed orders and cancellations are on the way and it was to much resistance these the past few weeks. Well it seems like Ford is done with the 22 Mach-E. And it's been clear that that version of the mustang takes precedent over the V8.

Most likely the 22 V8 order books closes before July.
You realize that the Fauxstang Mock E has as much to do with a real Mustang as your pet Pitbull, right. It isn't made at the same place and has Zero parts in common with an actual Mustang.

And also takes about 3000 chips to make compared to several hundred for a car.

If people are paying 18k over for used M1s, it would not surprise me at all if some dealers refused to fulfill their obligations under the purchase order contract. I feel bad for anyone who didn't get the agreement in writing.
so what you're saying is... if im planning on putting a factory order in i should get a written agreement for the price?

Of course that, but dealers might be tempted to ignore a written agreement anyways. If they can get 18k over, they might just sell at the higher price and deal with a lawsuit from the first customer, still come out ahead.

I can get a M1 if I trade or sell both of my cars:🤔. let me rephrase that, I can order one and hope to get one.

Then you should see whats going on in the C8 forum. People are paying more for a chevy product than brand new Aston martins, McLarens, and full option Porsches. It's really the same phenomenon with housing. Banks are allowing longer than normal terms and while rates have increased they are still low. There's more than a enough people willing to capitulate into paying these high prices. Also this trim will honestly have a lower production volume than the Bullit and GT350
Have you seen the price of used 25 years old Porsche 911 with high mileage? Sometimes more than $50K for a car with spotty maintenance records. I keep a record of recent BaT sales and I don't even care to put a bid since I know I'll be outbid right away. Full option new 911 are being flipped over and over again. Again this reminds me of house flipping in the late '70s, early '80s.

Again.... While true the Mach-E right next to the F-150 is Ford's pride and joy. For the 2022 version the order Books have been closed over a month earlier than the 2021 version. It would be niave to think the ICE vehicles won't have the same fate. If the M1 cancellation started in October last year, it's not unreasonable to think they will cancel in September for this year, and we have lost April production which didn't happen to the Mach -E. May, June, July, and August, and maybe September is what remains left. They only produce 250 or so a day in 2021, 2022 is FOR SURE a worse year. Production wise it leaves about 25k mustangs left before cancellations and they spend the rest of the year cleaning up. Last year M1 was only 10% of total production. So if kept the same they will only produce 2,500 vehicles, when they have only made less than 1000 2022's so far. Historically the second year of special editions sees significantly higher sales. So while 2021 only produced 6k or so M1s there are probably 10k+ total global M1 orders (allocation+reorders+new orders) and less than 1k have been made and 0 HPs as far as I'm aware. Even a dedicated month will not fulfill the backlog. There's a reason why people are still paying a significant premium for this vehicle ( and others as I went to look at 911s today and the adm is almost MSRP!
