Wow that is horrible and anti consumer. Thats a ‘we want to hide delays’ choice not a consumer confusion choice. If my build might be months out and they want to mushroom me I might end up in another car before they tell me.
So here is how my whole experience went. Went to dealer to order in early September. Was told the HP package was no longer available on the 21. I was bummed and was not sure I wanted one without it. I agonized and finally pulled the trigger on the non HP. Then the story picks up where I started before. Called into the dealer in November to tell me 21 orders were canceled, but I could order a 22 WITH the HP. So here we are. Still waiting. Nothing from ford today. People have said I could hear today or tomorrow. We shall see.
I think all of us who missed out on last weeks mass scheduling, are still hearing nothing but crickets from Ford.
I guess it was a matter of a week. My non-HP order was on Sept. 14 and it wasn’t canceled. Who knows how Ford decides when and which dealer to cancel orders. Hope you get your HP soon
Read that link to Bronco6g, because if true, you (we) might not get a notice of our build date until 2 weeks before it is built.
If no email by noon tomorrow, I plan on getting a hold of Zach to do that very thing.
