Hello all,
After my ranting and being mad a the world, I have narrowed down 2 choices for a purchase now; both have positives and negatives. With that being said I will post both cars, which are priced almost identical.

Car 1: 2021 M1-Whipple new
Car 2: 2019 Gt350 1850 miles

Both roughly 71K

Comments on both choices would be greatly appreciated. Either one will not be a DD only a play toy. Thanks in advance
GT350... I picked up a 2020 GT350 1,800 miles - also magnetic grey and black striped. Put a GT350R exhaust on and it kept it stock otherwise. Stock or with the R exhaust, the sound is truly something amazing. The R exhaust (or if you go with stock exhaust and resonator delete) makes the 350 scream. If you aren't planning to mod/boost, go with the 350. If you are planning to mod and boost, go with the Mach 1.

Engine concerns: for the 2019 and 2020 GT350s, both had the final engine revisions and you shouldn't have any problems. Most engine problems were due to earlier engines sucking oil and people not checking oil levels while tracking. throwing a SC on an engine is also going to lead to eventual engine issues, even with the 5.0 being essentially bullet proof its just extra wear and tear that will eventually catch up. I had an 03 cobra and loved it, but after that experience, personally, anything I'm keeping long term will be NA and not boosted.

Plus, the look of the GT350 is unique. Mach 1, while I still have one ordered for over 1+ years, is more modern nostalgia and is basically a GT look with different decals.

Granger pick up ?
Yes.

anyone driving to/from granger DO NOT take IA-163. / US-63 to the south East. This is the worst road I have ever been on. Truck is bouncing non stop for 100 miles so far

Al,
Thanks for the reply, I know exactly what you are saying with adding boost, 03 Mach was Procharged. I loved it, but it was always giving problems and throwing codes.
I finally had enough, replaced the sensors throwing codes and sold it.

Im still on the fence on whether I wait and see if mine is cancelled, or buy something now. Thanks again for the advice.

I read that last night. An update my salesman called me yesterday begging me not to cancel, that my car will be built. Im not sure if it was a dream he had, talking out of his a$$, or factual information.

I told him, I was actively looking, and time will tell what happens.
My issue with the Granger Mach 1 is that I believe it doesn’t have OPG’s and it’s non-HP. HP can be added easily enough like I did but I’d really want a whipple’d Mach 1 to have OPG’s and HP.

Not really, rear is identical to GT500, which looks best, unique front is better looking to me than GT350 too (minus the Cobra), they are pretty close as well (if ignoring fake fog lights). Inheriting all the good parts and awesome unique wheels makes it stand out on its own among its brethren. Late GT350 not having digital cluster was a pity too.

don't get me wrong, I think the mach 1 is a great car... if mine ever gets built, I'm going to have a tough decision to make of keeping the 350 or taking the mach 1.

I bought the 350 in the spring to at least have something in the "inbetween" and in the more than likely scenario my 15+ month ordered mach 1 never gets built. I actually prefer the old school cluster, personally wish the mach 1 didn't have the digital setup. I like seeing the 200mph on the speedo
