Since my car will be silver I'm kind of debating going for the stealth look and trying to remove the silver from the rear emblem so it will be black emblem on black decklid, and leave the sides silver emblem on silver paint.

Soon as I get a car LOL... saw a post in another thread from a guy in NC whose car was done Aug 18, shipped Aug 25, and after 5 delays he didn't get it till Sept 24! (or something like that, going from memory.) My car was finished 6 days ago and still not shipped.

My car sat for 12 days before it was shipped. Total time from built to delivered was almost a month. Delivery was to Granger, IA.

If you’re not aware, your dealer can see status of your order 24/7 via Vehicle Visibility report or you can email Ford Performance for status - [email protected]. They’re very nice about it and usually quick to respond, just provide your order number from the dealer.

* Stopped by the dealership to have wife's Edge serviced when my sales guy came up to me and said "I probably should not tell you this, but they moved up your order to an 8/11 build date".

I am not crossing my fingers on that bit of information. Willing to wait my turn.....

The wait is finally over.....

After waiting weeks while the car sat waiting to be shipped, traveling by rail out to Las Vegas, numerous date changes to the tracking website, I have my car!

Obviously, extremely excited to play with it.

The build date was moved up two months, but the shipping portion was the longest wait. All that is now in the past.

Hoping all those who are still waiting can keep patient enough til they get their new car. It most certainly is worth the wait.

Admittedly a solid black emblem would only look good on the white as it gives the most contrast

That’s great news. Really. I’m really excited for you. Your patience paid off. Use it, enjoy it and love it in good health. Please post pics…we have the same color. But unlike yourself, I live here, where they can manage to get a car from MI. to freaking Tibet faster than to Florida.
