I saw that the other day. I guess different manufactures have different supply chains and that s our only hope.

ordered my car 7/13.Got email a few days later with for a build date of 11/15,then the next day 9/13
Got window sticker 9/1 and stated (In production) when I check tracking info,but no email from ford

Using my example, it took 2.5 weeks to come out of initial in production to built status. In your case, on 9/1, start counting 2.5 weeks or maybe sooner. I received no further emails until the status changed from in production to built 2.5 weeks later.

I sure hope not. The factories already have workers who get laid off weeks at a time so all I'm saying is this won't really slow things down already than they are currently.

All this Assembly line talk has me curious...so last year, Flat Rock built 61,090 Mustangs, or 167/day assuming 24/7 and 365 (which probably doesn't happen). A 2013 article on Flat Rock said they were building 304/day at the time. Let's say 200/day, that's 1400 Mustangs not being built this week...it would be hard to accelerate the line to make up for that amount. Fascinating though...

Ordered was canceled today by Ford.
Dealer cited the inability to get parts for the handling package. Order is done, dealer will order me a 2022 model when the banks open. I just hope I eventually get a car, don’t care when.

Totally. It was such a good day too, was offered a job far above my abilities! Things were looking amazing then I got the news from Granger. I hope I can get a 2022 but I think further disruption of the supply chain is coming. He did state that if I dropped the handling package I could get one but that just killed it for me. Pray for my 2022! I’m now day drinking under my aspens listening to Jazz. God I want this car the way I ordered it! Fingers crossed.
