My guess is that the Steeda will actually add something. I am still not convinced with the JLT.Yeah, I have yet to see a dyno that makes a CAI worthwhile, other than engine bay dress up. I'll stick with my drop in.
The Lund E85R though!!! I love my tune...
I'm sure it will add something but the HP to $ ratio is gonna suck bad.My guess is that the Steeda will actually add something. I am still not convinced with the JLT.
Ah, bummer! I was hoping there'd be no downside. Thanks for the info! The down side is that it brings on timing slowly. You don't get that little bump on the low-mid range that makes E85 so much fun. It is a pain to flash back and forth though. I just wish there were more E85 stations, and better detergency, so this wouldn't ever be an issue.
Most mods after an E85 tune just donāt give much bang for the buck.I'm sure it will add something but the HP to $ ratio is gonna suck bad.
Yeah, I agree. Other than maybe LTHs down the road I am probably done with bolt ons. Most mods after an E85 tune just donāt give much bang for the buck.
This is perhaps the most awesome thing I have ever seen on this forum. The only way this could get any better is if you added price per level of mods so you can see bang for the buck factor. As is, this is extremely helpful information! Thank you for publishing this. Here's the results we got on our 2018.
I run it year around. What kind of starting problems to you have? Just fired mine up in 32 degree air temps. No change from how it runs versus summer. Who is your tuner?Hey guys, what do you guys do about cold weather running e85, is there something the tuner can do to make the start a little less agonizing?
I have yet to make the switch, the weather has been low 30s and I was nervous cause people have said they have experienced trouble with the car cranking when it is cold. I suppose I should just throw it in and see how it goes.I run it year around. What kind of starting problems to you have? Just fired mine up in 32 degree air temps. Ditto. No problems here.I run it year around. What kind of starting problems to you have? Just fired mine up in 32 degree air temps. No change from how it runs versus summer. Who is your tuner?
Mine starts fine in the cold, but takes some extra cranking on warm restarts.I have yet to make the switch, the weather has been low 30s and I was nervous cause people have said they have experienced trouble with the car cranking when it is cold. Thank you for sharing your experience, it puts me a bit at ease.
