We're running E85 on our Whipple powered 18 GT 10 speed auto and this car is potent to say the least. We ran E85 earlier on with just an intake and headers and it definitely made a big difference over pump gas.

Here's our last outing at the track. I'd say it was a success even in the FL summer heat.

I was running E85, but went back to 93 in case I need to take it in to the dealer for engine noise. My experience with E85 (PBD Tune), was that it completely changed the mid range pull in the car. On a stock tune, the car felt anemic from 1500-3500 RPM. 93 octane tune was a slight improvement, but the E85 woke the engine up. I had one map revision, but really need to run a couple tanks of corn to get a final version.
Im new to Ford. They cant see if a tune has been on the car before like the other manufactures?

If they do it like other manufacturers, they only tell by key cycles. But I am not too concerned. They don't seem as anal about tuning and aftermarket.

Quite honestly the torque increase in the part throttle driving has more than made the e85 tuning worth it to me. Motor feels like an LS5 454 down low. Car can pull away rapidly from traffic shifting 4k tops.

Lund E85 Flex/R tunes....love them both. No issues and certainly feel a difference in torque and throttle response.

Wow, I'm surprised that you saw timing that high. I haven't logged in a while but when I logged my Lund Race tune I don't remember seeing 29-30* like I did with the 15. Maybe I'm just remembering how low my logs on 93 were. I just remember being bummed that I only saw around 26* on 93 with my Lund tune when I used to see closer to 30* with a good tank of 93 on my 15. I digress, this is supposed to be a thread about e85 on 18's so I'm gonna zip it until I have something worth while to add. LOL!
Yah, I'm seeing 30* very consistently on my Lund E85R.

Yeah, but you guys get that mineshaft air! Probably almost as good with 94 as ours on e85. You already have one Canadian running 10's with an NA bolt on 18 with your 94 gaz!

Hard to believe with such an environmental aware city.....
Not only do we only not even get 93 octane here in Phx but they took our e85 away in favor of true ff circa e54ish. Oh well still better than our 91.

Green filter drop in is pretty good. Big improvement over stock right away
