The name is only as valuable as the actual benefits/distinctions it brings to the table.
If you left SHELBY off of the GT350, it would STILL be a special car. For a number of reasons that have nothing to do with the shelby name.

No, that’s one of the reasons I chose this one. It has the option for a larger MAF tube but I chose the smaller one. Got the recommendation from tuner. I wanted to make sure I got a CAI with a clean MAF signal.

I think there are multiple factors that play into this issue. One of them is that there are many "technicians" that simply aren't. A percentage of them in my experience are part hangers and have very little mechanical "intuition" or even just a simple curiosity to understand how things work...
I have (and still do) work for a dealership. I guess my concern here is more of a common sense one. After the first balance and proper test drive, it should have been determined that it wasn't addressed.
