what price would make it interesting for everyone around here?
250 up to 300 and I'd buy it. Problem is minimum run has to be 50 to get anykind of discount.

And since wrapping the exhaust seems to solve the problem for many at $80 price point the market shrinks considerably.

I think the challenge is you can install a guaranteed to work pump/cooler/fan combo for ~$500 and it doesn’t involve wrestling that 80lb+ chunk of iron while laying on your back!

if you have a proper lift setup, I get it..
Drop the subframe, buddy. It probably saves time in the long run and it definitely saves aggravation.

We’re still talking the difference between tinker work of running some wires, making a few an hoses, installing some fittings, and drilling a few small holes knowing the end result is 100% the fix vs dropping the entire ass end out of the car.

I didn't realize that was a big deal, I guess.

I took the easier route and bought a Mach 1 :D
id really like to get a hold of a Mach 1 and beat on it for 20 min. Those coolers are so small compared to what I’ve had to add to my base model

Agree completely. Still waiting to hear reports from M1 owners if their cars have any heating issues.

I know that the Ford Performance Racing School runs something similar to the FTBR or MMR active coolers which makes it kinda odd that Ford Performance never released one themselves.

Here is the new, finned rear cover and the stocker. There was some concern about the interior shape, which is similar to the stock with the addition of some interior fins for the oil side of the heat transfer. The exterior has the air fins, of course. The cover is quite a bit heavier than the stock piece, so it adds 7.3 pounds. The housing/differential change was dropping about 23#, if memory serves, so it will be more like 15# net loss. In the end, I'm not sure if it's really all that lighter than a pump/cooler, but it's a simple passive solution to a common issue and any extra weight is in about the best place possible.
