the steeda magneride rear drag spring is listed as a 0.75 inch drop. the minimum drop magneride rear spring is listed at 0.375 inch drop on an s650. i thought they were the same 800 lb spring. can anyone confirm?
just tracked the car.
the knuckles provide more confident steering. it is less vague. got to 1.03 g’s on the accelerometer which is .02 more than previous
i just did this mod
the old brake shields fit, but you have to dremel out some of the shield to make it fit around the hub. not a big deal. so far feels about the same around town which i expected. need to do some high g turns to tell the difference i suspect. you need to take down the front...
the inside radius of the cambered tire is smaller than the outside radius because it’s being compressed, hence it wants to turn inward-like toe does
i thnk

kz is from the rust belt, mrmike i suspect you live in a non-rust belt area. when enough of nature's loctite gets on the parts, it becomes a different world. 'it came off with one hit' would never happen where i live.
great. please let us know how the steering feels. i think an improvement in steering feel is what most of us are looking for. also, the unicorn ford tool is $250. is there a cheaper knockoff available on amazon that would work?
i think u should be able to lock the rears. sometimes if the parking brake isnt adjusted right, it takes a deep pedal push to get the rear pads to touch the brake disc. to test this, engage the parking brake. if it only engages near the end of the pull, your parking brake may need adjustment...
It is worthwhile to do and satisfying if you are a patient person. this is not something you can do in a rush. the measurements you take have to be very accurate. one piece of advice is to realize your garage floor moves. you have to level the surface with floor tiles immediately prior to...
