Thanks for the reply. I wasn’t sure where to look exactly lol. I kinda read the page for the special one as being a different length or somehow not compatible if I don’t need that one.
looking to purchase a Steeda x pipe but see they have 2 different models. One that’s 18+ specific and says it’s for models with a specific type of heat shield. Does anyone have a picture of this heat shield? I want to look under my car tomorrow and know which one I’m looking for.
I’d love to...
If you are only worried about inspection time, why not v band flange the axle back portion and swap between stock and the flowmaster every time you get inspected? Now if you are worried about police that’s a different story lol
This is a terrible idea. No need to give the epa and the government lawyers yet another way to screw over the tubing world (or give case law to start that process) in the hopes of getting a couple grand. This is basically asking for laws to be written to stop aftermarket tuning during a time...
The 3650 wasn’t a good transmission from a power holding standpoint. It lasted in your Mach 1 because it made 300 crank horsepower and no torque. I mean it’s a 4v 4.6 without a blower. Anyone making decent power 400+whp moved to a t56.
GM sticks a good tremec in the 6th gen AND gives all of...
I haven’t watched the video but I’m assuming the car he has is a press car so it’s been beat on like a rented mule. That probably has as much to do with the shifting issues as does the mt82 being a massive hunk of bean counter garbage.
Thanks for the tips. I had planned on taking them for a drive when I drop it off. I’ll look that thread up today and see what I can find.
I’m not sure what my build date is so not sure if I got an early trans or not. It’s always seemed sluggish shifting out of first in normal auto mode but...
So I have been noticing some weird shifting issues with my car lately. Its completely stock and has always been stock. I drive it soft while warming up and it has around 10k miles on it currently. The most common issue is shifting from Park or (especially) reverse to drive. It shifts very...
Can the rev matching for the a10 be changed with a tune? I’d like a rev match similar to what a manual would get if using the paddles. I have noticed the sport auto rev matches the down shifts more aggressively than the sport with paddles does so it has to be possible.
I have a one year old dell i3 that I used for HP Tuners and Holley when I was doing LS stuff that worked great. It’s a touchscreen and it can be folded in half to just be a tablet if you wanted. I plan to reformat it tomorrow to list it for sale if you’d be interested.
Because the 18+ kits don't fit very well and are more expensive than the 15-17 kits. 1400-2000+ for something that doesn't change performance in any way is a very niche market, and it gets even worse when it fits horrible (for the price point).
Roush is a decent setup and can probably make way more than a street car should really ever have. You also know that you will get the entire kit and a safe tune from them because Ford uses that kit for their FRPP setups. If it were me, I would go Edelbrock. Its the same headunit as the Roush...
If it were me, I would look at how the car was stored. If indoors and treated fairly, I would buy it and change oil, coolant, gas and tires. Then test drive it to check the brakes. If they are good, then drive it how I intended to. If it has been stored outdoors for any length of time or...
