Interesting that option B's decklid and taillights are less angled and more upright but don't look right to me. I thought I'd like it better like that. I think they went with the right choice too.

funny, my exact thought looking at these 3 themes. I actually like the rear they decided even though at first wasn't sure. It looks more sleek & modern and separates it more from current generation. Also, like the fact the pillar betwen the windows is gone, overall the car looks slick and not as chunky as G5. Overall, I have to commend Ford even though many will be moaning & groaning and also nit-picking.

This one would be awesome! Any chance that is the SVT model, maybe?

That last one above is awful, like a caricature.

I'm not really seeing the differences on the 3 versions. It's not like the SN95 design proposals where it was very obvious. This looks more like Rampant's body kit renders of slightly tweaked grill/fogs.

Wow, I'm definitely glad they went with the option they did...the others just don't flow well

Glad they left out the giant retro fogs and enormous hood scoop...much classier the way it is now.

I know most of you here love the whole thing, and I totally respect that, but ...

from the day those photos leaked on the internet with the car's front end exposed on the track, I knew it's gonna be a hard decision to buy this or the 2014. But then the IRS, the weight reduction, more HP (potentially) for the GT and not to mention the freaking gorgeous rear end and the interior. I just wish the front didn't look like the current design for the 15. it looks like a fusion to me and not as masculine as the 14 and 13 are. and none of these designs really look that different as far as the front goes, well minus the ugly fogs (we didn't have those on the GT's here in Canada for the 13's, it was great lol)

and again... don't hate! just my opinion.. let's have that I respect yours you respect mine kinda situation here lol

and I haven't seen the car in person.. but I mean they came up with this nice rear end and interior but they had to get design cues from the fusion for its front? why? make that 50 year old beast a brand new face! the fact that you can see a fusion in that front face just bothers me soooo much.

I either have to get the 2014 now and put my head down when someone pulls up in his nice 15 at the lights, or suck it up and get a 15.. beast of a car like this; people will probably be looking at it's rear end most of the time anyways...

You act like you're the first person to not like something about the car. ;)

Besides, people only see the front end for a brief second as you pass them. "What's that Fusion gonna do?" Will be their last thought.

Yes, it does have a similar look to the Fusion (kind of like how BMW's models look similar) This is the first thing that I didn't like either. Then, the more I looked at it, I realized that there are quite a few differences that make it more Mustang then Fusion. Heck, if I had enough time, I'm sure I can find that the front end resembles a lot of other brands out there. There is only so much you can do from a design stand point and make it beautiful and functional at the same time, all while playing tribute to the original designs.
The new Mustang is really based off of the 65-70 older designs, just so happen the Fusion really has the old Mustang DNA in it.
I did this Photoshop comparison so you can see that when looking straight on, it resembles the Fusion, although has deeper set grilles and more aggressive looking headlights. The 3/4 shot, no comparison, the rear end, no comparison. This is pure Mustang, when you see it in person, I think you will love it.

I'm not going to Hate on Your Post or Your Opinion, but I am going to say that the Front End Design of the 2015 Mustang was NOT Inspired By, or Designed to Look
Like the Fusion. BOTH The 2015 Mustang and 2014 Fusion were Designed using Inspiration from the Ford Evos Concept. However, looking at the Front End of the 2015 Mustang All I See is an Evolution of the 68 Shelby Mustang's Grill Opening, which was the Inspiration for the 05-14 Shelby GT-500 and the 12-14 Mustang's Front End. I Do Seriously Wish Ford had Released the Mustang FIRST, Because it is Their Halo Car and No One Would Be Bitching that "Oh No... They Made the Fusion Look Like a Mustang!" Everyone would be saying, "Cool, the New Fusion kinda Resembles the Mustang."

Exactly what others said here. The Fusion is not a fresh design. It took cues from both Evos and shares some design with Astons. I see very little Fusion in the new Mustang and if you watch one of the videos Moray Callum confirms that the '65 Mustang's nose was the inspiration for the S550. The shape of the hollowed GT grille has evolved from the GT500 (both current and old - see '67 GT500) and the '65's gills (located between the grille and the headlights) have been incorporated into the S550 as DRLs now. It's a really cool touch if you ask me.
