Cheetas top out at like 62 mph, not 100 lol.
Since no units were expressed, we can assume he meant kilometers per hour. :)
Google says 2.9 seconds. Decel rates of 12 m/s² supposedly which is -1.22G which is 60-0mph time of 2.24 seconds.
So 0-60-0 time of 5.14 seconds assuming theoretical cheetah in good health, chasing a theoretical Ibex at STP on level grassland plain and no warthogs dashing about underfoot.

ok fine, peregrine falcon for the win :muscle:

"The peregrine is renowned for its speed, reaching over 320 km/h (200 mph) during its characteristic hunting stoop (high-speed dive),[4] making it the fastest bird in the world and the fastest member of the animal kingdom.[5][6][7] According to a National Geographic TV program, the highest measured speed of a peregrine falcon is 389 km/h (242 mph)."

My buddy I rescued the other night

Wow, that's pretty neat. We had a pretty big Osprey sitting on of the main supports for our [under construction] deck last week. I looked out the back glass doors, he turned around looked at me - had a standoff for a moment, I went to grab my phone for a photo and he took off (hopefully he was eating some varmints ...)

Big deal. A '19 GT with A10 can do 0-100-0 in the 10s. The key is making sure you get to 100 before you hit the bridge abutment.

Unfortunately the Osprey almost exclusively eats fish except in extreme circumstances. In what seems like a former life, years ago I was a biologist.

Not sure how it's nonsense since the numbers came from Car and Driver. My post or numbers here have nothing to do with Camaro6 either. Although I did post similar posts over there in the GT500 vs. CA ZL1 (now C8) thread while discussing Corvettes...
Most throw out a super high. Or a super low as an anomaly. The vast majority of magazine tests had the c6 ZO6 anywhere from 121 to 124 trap speeds. And running 11.7-12.1s. I’ve personally raced about 30 different C7 zo6’s. In some of the most perfect weather conditions that Atco has to offer. And not one has trapped higher than 128mph. So to achieve a 127 trap. With a car that had 145 less hp. And 180 less ft pounds of torque. It’s not happening without some type of error being involved. The C6 had a power to weight ratio of 6.19. The C7 had a ptw of 5.43. The number just don’t ad up. So the 127 you mention. Is a nonsense number. Or an anomaly if you prefer.

Should be able to do it in about 8's. Just make sure TO hit the bridge abutment. In the interests of driver survival, I recommend a remote control setup.
