I'm really interested to see what happens here. Modern electronics can sense and limit wheel spin very quickly. If the computer can react quickly and pull power through engine, brakes, DCT clutches or a combination - plus react as needed with active suspension components - and maximize the acceleration from the available traction, the GT500 could surprise some people.

Hack I agree, I understand shes a "big" girl but I feel like there has been so much R&D , testing, technology and insane HP to not make this a super impressive car to drive.

Responsible, by selling a product to customers that just "assume" it's going to be a performer?

Never got any specs from the now 2 year old, $450K GT, but GM released the ZR1 right after and crushed any track numbers (one) the GT hit.

Now we have a $75-100K Mustang that hopefully outperforms the much cheaper ZL1, and Redeye car that have been out of a few years now.

I've owned and modified Mustangs for 31 years, what Ford has been doing lately is insulting to any REAL car guy

Here's a pro tip: The car will be out in about 30~35 days. So a month. People who will get them with no snow on the ground or people such as yourself in the southern region will be driving and enjoying them. Information will be up about them. Real reviews with real drivers.

Feel free to then argue and go on about how bad Ford is then. But in truth most likely, nobody will give two bloody copper's about it. But I guess it will be a entertaining read.

You're right, it wont be 4200, it will be more once you're sitting in it. You and full tank of gas, wouldnt be surprised if its at 4300lbs.

What has me sitting in my car with a full tank of gas got to do with anything.

Curb weight is curb weight and obviously you have never heard of that term before otherwise you would not have posted such an uniformed message.

You seem to have all of the answers therefore what will be the curb weight for a 2 seat GT500 that has not been ordered with the Technology Package which incorporates 12 speakers, a sub-woofer in the trunks and 3 way power seats.
