Been trying to have my car on the dyno ever since my whipple was installed a couple of weeks ago, as I was hoping to break into the 650hp range with my GT automatic.

Well finally got the car on the dyno today and with the whipple kit and whipple tune for automatic, the car made 556hp and 443tq.

Car doesn't feel as strong as I had hoped, so I can either send computer back to whipple for the latest auto tune to see if that would get me that extra 100hp I'm missing, or go with another tuner, or sell the car and get an M4.......

That's not bad power though.

I mean, it's pretty close to where a large pulley is on my auto VMP TVS car is.

I just swapped a pulley, and made 760.

You should consider the same. ;)

Do you have to retune with a pulley swap?

Should have the dyno numbers from my Whipple install tomorrow. As my is an automatic and has nothing else added will be good to see a direct comparison to your car.

Made an extra 20hp with my exhaust cut outs open... I'll post dyno tonight.

Will,

What exhaust are you running? Did you opt for the larger TB?

Mine will be run on a Mustang Dyno. I expect my results to be less than yours.

Did you ever do a stock pull?

What is the current rev limiter on your tune? I know they just updated their auto tune to spin higher like the manuals

In the video, what do you have sitting on top of the blower? A bag of ice?

They say don't ice the blower on the housing but ice the reservoir tank
Yup. A cold blower housing with hot rotors inside could seize up on you.

Whipple posted the following numbers recently with a stock setup + their 132 mm TB. ~650 hp @ 7500 RPM and ~480 ft-lbs on a dyno jet

How does your graph compare?

Did you check for air leaks around the manifold / discharge plate and confirm what boost pressure you're seeing?

Hopefully my whipple is done tomorrow. It all depends if I get my computer in time. Mine is a manual with the larger throttle body. Ill probably get it dynoed next week.

Honestly I don't feel like a whole bunch of troubleshooting. I think it's making the power it's supposed to make based on the whipple tune that I have.

I may have it retuned but I'm going over all of my options. I'm getting a little too busy for a project car right now. Anyways I'll post the graph of the dyno in a second.
