Somebody feel free to chime in but I haven't seen many people doing the timing gear / oil pump install on a Whipple. Maybe a handful at the most. Doesn't need it. And I would say clutch / axle shafts depends on how you drive it. If you're doing WOT launches at the track with drag radials...
The overdrive balancer is in case you want to spin the blower faster than what's possible with Whipple's smallest pulley and the stock balancer pulley diameter. At some point you can't make the blower pulley any smaller because the belt won't grip it, thus you make the crank pulley larger to...
The pulley diameter should be engraved on the front of the pulley if you want to check what size you have on your car. I think I read somewhere that for every 1/8" diameter change, peak boost changes by 1 psi. Maybe someone from Whipple can confirm. I say go for it. The West coast guys are...
I don't think its a bunch of troubleshooting. Check your A/F ratios and boost level when its running. I've seen a couple of times where a loose bolt between the discharge plate and manifold or an injector not seated properly made all the difference. Double check the install.
Yup. A cold blower housing with hot rotors inside could seize up on you.
Whipple posted the following numbers recently with a stock setup + their 132 mm TB. ~650 hp @ 7500 RPM and ~480 ft-lbs on a dyno jet

Curious to know what oil pump gears and sprockets people are using (what vendor) on their builds. TSS, MMR or Ford Racing? Pro & Cons of either?
Thanks
I want to make sure that the vendors posting their wares are honest to us consumers. You made a pretty bold statement there, if it is legit, then I think your tune would help many others, especially centrifugal and turbo applications that lack cylinder pressure down low. But, the graph looks...
Well of course you're going to say that KB is better because you sell KB's and not Whipples. Just like Beefcake always pushes Prochargers. What business with a right mind is going to promote a product that he DOESN'T sell. DUH!

Why is the air fuel going so lean at 6500? Looks near 13:1. Never seen a DynoJet dyno graph with Minimum air fuel…. Why is this the only Coyote motor that doesn’t make power until 7000? Even stock cam timing will make power to 7200. If this torque is due to cam timing, you have effectively...
Haters gonna hate. Why do you feel compelled to hijack another vendors thread? You know that Whipple also makes a 5.0L and 8.3L blower that they use on big block applications? By that reasoning 8.3 > 5.0 > 4.7LC. Plus didn't a 4.5L equipped Whipple come in #1 in 5.0 Mustangs King of the Street...
Does anyone know if you can retroactively add the rear seats onto the R model? I think its silly to not be able to order the rear seats on the R. It wouldn't be such a big deal if I could at least get the regular 350 with Track & Tech package, but I can't.
Nothing to do with living in a glass house. The DIFFERENCE is on the Roush thread, Roush slammed Whipple on the title, remember the title "Don't get Whipped"?. Did you expect Whipple not to come back swinging?
You are clearly hijacking a thread that has nothing to do with you or procharger...
The Whipple is in the process of getting CARB certification, so yes it will be smog legal shortly. I haven't read anywhere that the ProCharger is or will be. Plus I think the Whipple looks a lot cooler and much more OEM.
