In which world and track? A small Miata sized autocross parking lot track? Links to tracks where the GT350R is anywhere within comparable times?
No bias.. just facts
Except I drive mine like I stole it. That's what they are for. Many mountain trips etc. Bought new June of 2017 and had 24000 miles on it in 1 year. Kind of anxious to see the GT500 debut. Had a 2012 GT500. Was fun too.
The pistons are the weak point on the LT1. They can handle 650-700ish rwhp with good tuning reliably... but that is the edge. There are simple drop-in piston solutiuons now where they can bw swapped with the motor in car and no rebalancing needed. That pushes the power handling to the 1000rwhp...
Looks like you had fun. Although not a good example of the true capabilities of both cars with equal drivers. I can only assume if you 2 had switched cars and your drivermod was in the 1LE it would not have been close. Looked fun tho!
There is definitely a "trick" and procedure to getting in and out of them.. but once you get it down pat it's not bad.. even with my bad back. Although it IS easier to get in and out of the truck by just stepping on the bars
You would be surprised how daily driveable the Vette is... Of course I can understand with kids etc a 2 seater isn't ideal. But the ride is not the washboard rough ride of past models. I have driven my GS more than 24k miles in the past 15months... Drive the truck mostly when rainy etc but take...
I didn't hate GM. I like having fun and talking shit. I don't get butthurt. Unfortunately when the 6gen Camaros first came out we laughed at their lackluster tuned performance because the tuners sucked. That's a thing of the past. And once I drove my Grand Sport.. yeah it was all over. It's a...
No.. I am speaking facts. No Mustang in existence can compete with the C7 Corvettes with equal drivers on a road course. My Grand Sport would bitch slap a GT350R.
Yeah I saw his list... Weight reduction, Suspension mods, No seats other than driver seat .. 3725lbs raceweight with 200lb driver... meaning its a 3500lb car... he is damn near as light as my Vette Lol... but hey.. whatever floats the boat on "just a couple mods"
That is a good time tho. All this close racing makes it better for all of us. I am waiting to laugh at the dealers who try to charge ADM on the new GT500s... yes.. I may perchance get one
But either way.. my GS has been quicker.. soo.
You mean that Canadian guy? You going to list the whole mod list? Or minimize it? 6gen been 10.7@128. Most likely less mods.
No really... not when you get in a real driver's car like a Vette.
Well well... you are older than me and here I am with a C7 Grand Sport. Don't wait man! Get into one...

Stop being butthurt.. which is what you sound like. The runs are legit. The guy was a respected member of the group. There were others running in the same range that would have called it out. But in your opinion...
That they have faster cars that are much more fun to drive in every mode of driving? Cool

The 11.3 is legit. And the person who was updating that list no long does..so the list is outdated. We have tried to get someone else to pick it back up and update again.
I now have a 2017 Grand Sport(Traded my S550) with boltons and tuning from Pray Performance. Let's just say I am not scared...
Dont use the factory duct. My heatshield is actually opened up more... PMAS tested with and without the air duct and it caused more restriction than without.
Hmm.. funny.. I have Base Auto 3.15 car with Lund Racing tune, e85, long tubes with cats, gt350IM, OEM TB, PMAS cai, 1050x injectors, BMR suspension stuff, and converter running 11.2 @ 121.5. Lund tune is rocking for sure on my car. :hail:
