What did you do to your GT350 today?

Washed it for the first time in months. Toddlers are not for the weak. Also changed the oil, noticed consumption increases after oil has 3500 miles on it.

WTF? Tesla lithium 12V (actually 16V) are off the shelf items for what I consider an outrageous $300-$400 (1/10th as much). Never heard of one failing on Tesla forums, but sure they can.

It's a proprietary lithium ion ferrite battery with an integrated BMS module. Good old Porsche.

Took the Shelby out for a drive. First time in almost a month. Roads out here are full of construction and unattentive drivers. Actually took it to work for the day.
In between rides I parked it in a different part of the garage where lighing was more subdued. Another shade of the PB color emerged...

I drove my GT350R base to my parents house. There’s a guy in town with a Ford GT that he bought new in 06. He invited me over as a fellow enthusiast.
He passed on a Gulf GT for the same price.
Cool guy, but he didn’t seem to care too much about my “Mustang.”
But let’s be real, his GT stole the show. I got a cold start video of it too. Sounds incredible.
In other news, my GT350R roadtripped decently.

Some guys are more about themselves and don't reciprocate interest. Your 350R is no slouch...

Popped into the Shelby American Automobile Car Club 51 year anniversary in Braselton, GA today for a bit. Got a chance to see the Shelby GT350 TA up close along with both the convertible and coupe Darkhorse SCs today. Second time I've seen the DH SC in person but this time I was able to really check It out. It is not a bad looking car at all IMHO. A bunch of classic Mustangs, mostly Shelby's of course. Walked right past Steve Saleen as he was driving out in a white one. The new Saleen may be the cleanest version of the S650 in the looks department for me.

Went to a car show today with friends. Got a top 25 and door prize of chemical guys stuff.

Also attended a local car show, and took home a top People's Choice award. All I can say, about time. I put in a lot of effort to maintain the mirror like finish on my car.

Finished cleaning up the GT350 after a track day at Blackhawk Farms. Took the wheels off to give the wheels and calipers a good scrubbing. Lots of brake dust. I Feel much better now. Next is an oil change when the oil shows up.

I have 2 other plaques for similiar awards. Those shows where they also judge your interior, your trunk, engine compartment, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, etc., I never do well. My car is a driver, so I dont worry about what's in the trunk, or stuff inside my car, or how clean my engine is.. But those that are simply judged on appearance, it shines, literally.
