I just disabled the telematics crap so it doesn't transmit.
Many of us did. And it’s possible because the S550 fuse controls only this hated telematics module. In Subarus, the corresponding DCM fuse disables telematics, microphone and central speaker for handsfree calls. A lot more annoying. If Ford wants to continue selling cars to me, they need to build a car that can be disconnected without annoying side-effects.

I don't know If I would replace with another Mustang, "IF" I were to replace.
I've bought a couple of parts for it. One installed, one in the garage still, waiting to be installed. It's a lot more fun when you add your custom touches to it, whether it be performance or styling.

I am like so many here. I always look when something catches my eye. However, there isn't anything new that catches my eye. YET. So I have slowly modified mine the last couple years to keep things fresh. Just got mine back last week from getting the ESS installed, that makes it definitely more lively :) I am sure more to come at some point. :)

I completely agree! Luckly Ford doesn't intagrate it into major systems that will give the car issues...to my knowledge.

Will never sell it !
She's paid off, has the mods I want to feel & drive like I want, cost me a yearly registration, cheap insurance and an oil change.
I used to do have an old 911, which I sold, and I still regret it so I won't do the same mistake again !!

I'm the same way. I love to try different cars. But there's just not anything I want to trade the Mustang for. It's set up for track days, which took me a while. It was cheap and has about 36,000 miles on it, so it's still in pretty decent condition.

I did sell the LT1 Camaro and am enjoying daily driving my Challenger right now. So, since I just bought something earlier this year, I guess I'm well within the 1-2 year time window where I will keep a car and be happy with it. I think both the 6 Gen Camaro and the 6.4 Challenger are fun street cars that someone could run as a Mustang alternative if you really want some variety. I really liked the Camaro especially.

The prices went up so much on new cars that it doesn't seem worth it to trade the Mustang for something new. And it's a joke what anyone would give me in trade for it. I have gotten the itch a couple times but then I remember all the work I did and I really don't feel like starting over. I've owned enough cars to know the alternatives and I'm pretty happy with what I have.

I want my 2005 Mustang GT Deluxe Satin Silver with red leather interior back. In hindsight, I absolutely regret trading it in in 2007. It looked exactly like the below and I miss her dearly! :(

I loved how retro it was and the red leather was amazing in person and the Shaker 500 really bumped! LOL. There were some cheap interior aspects but overall, an amazing car.

I want to add to my original post that the more I think about it and revisit this thread, the more I am really enamored with the idea of adding a Mach 1 at some point. The big question then will be A10 or Tremec.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Mach 1. Folks will recommend the Tremec and some will say the A10 is wonky.... Having owned a Mach 1 with both I can say that I loved the driving engagement with the Tremec but the A10 for me isn't bad and I like just punching it and launching. The A10 in sport mode is fun. I suggest if you check out a Mach 1 try and drive both the Tremec and A10 and see what you like better. If I were daily driving a Mach 1 and in stop and go traffic an A10 would probably be more comfortable.

They always looked great, just didn't make power(outside of the GT500), and the interior was just a little too cheap feeling. Which is why I went with a 2014 GT back then, it solved all those issues.

Yeah, I agree some of the door panels and interior parts were hard as a rock on my 2005. But not too much different on my S550 honestly before I modded all the interior parts with premium parts that have the soft leather/rollover, etc. The 2005 GT's power I lived with as it had a little pep but agree, it wasn't all that powerful.

Almost ordered the 2011 equivalent, but didn't care for the taillights and was leery of the first year 5.0 engine. Just waited a few years and fell in love with the S550 and went darker on the body color.
