YES! Those are the exact ones I had issues with! They are complete CRAP, and I was so frustrated with them. I went through two sets. In my other post I explain in detail what happened.
Diode has been great though. No issues whatsoever.
Yeah, I agree some of the door panels and interior parts were hard as a rock on my 2005. But not too much different on my S550 honestly before I modded all the interior parts with premium parts that have the soft leather/rollover, etc. The 2005 GT's power I lived with as it had a little pep...
Damn, man really sorry to hear that. I feel you on the aftermarket parts. I had HUGE problems with some euro tails from AM and when I found out with a lot of research they were complete crap after two different sets were not working properly I had to do two different claims and I eventually...
I loved how retro it was and the red leather was amazing in person and the Shaker 500 really bumped! LOL. There were some cheap interior aspects but overall, an amazing car.
I want my 2005 Mustang GT Deluxe Satin Silver with red leather interior back. In hindsight, I absolutely regret trading it in in 2007. It looked exactly like the below and I miss her dearly! :(
If I had the means I would get a 2019 or 2020 Shelby GT350 as a weekend race car - Race Red with black racing stripes or Oxford White with blue racing stripes. I'm never selling my RR EB! Ever! :)
Not too interested in the S650s. Don't hate them, but don't love them either.
Just got my girl professionally detailed today! I'm so happy with the results, 80% paint correction. No more scuffs or swirl marks! The pictures don't do it justice. She's so shiny, and looks like she just rolled off the assembly line! 😁
I would actually buy a nicely used GT350 over a new S650 if I had the means. Or I would buy a silver 2005 GT Deluxe with red leather interior because I miss it and loved it more than any other Mustang I ever had. Well, besides my girl since 2024! :)
I would definitely like the interior way more if the screens were more integrated in the dash and it was a tad more classic. I understand trying to be more modern, but I think it's a bit too far. Again, it's my opinion and everyone is different.
Hmmm.. it's all subjective but I hear you.
WOW. This my 6th Mustang. I've had a 1997 V6, 1999 V6, 2001 V6, 2005 GT, and a 2007 GT.
I wish I never would've sold my 2005. I loved that car. In hindsight, I regret it.
Did you sell all of them or do you still have a few of them?
Glad you dig it!
The exterior I have opinions about, but the interior feels way too modern for me, it loses the retro vibe of the classic Mustangs while it does seem like the materials are way better (I haven't sat in one before). But then people have said that even the S550 premium trimmed...
Yes, I remember that as well. People actually didn't like the new DRLs and taillights and also the front end, especially the "Darth Vader" inspiration. I actually love those parts of the car! :)
WOW!
It is nice for sure. What made you pull the trigger? You wanted a newer Mustang?
I did so many mods on my S550 (as you can easily see, LOL) I would never let her go. :)
