I was wondering if those were yours behind mine. Those 3 weeks or so will go by fast:D
Really thought so at first until I saw the lack of step lip/lip period

I thought I remember reading you went with the flat center caps?
They look awesome. I can't wait to the photoshoot. Is it already scheduled?

Guess it is time to get my build thread going.

My car was ordered on 5/21/2014 and was built on 11/24/2014. I ordered it through Jeff Greenly @Yocum Ford in Lansdale, PA. This was the best new car buying experience of my life, bar none. Jeff is the ultimate Mustang and Ford performance car nut you will ever find. Sticker price was $45,885. I got x-plan pricing for $42,965.27. At the time of pickup, I received $2250 in rebates. That is a total of $5170 off MSRP. Not bad for a brand new generation car :D.

The plan for my car will be to keep it NA and improve the stock PP handling by investing in better suspension components, lighter wheels and wider tires.

Parts listing with links:

Steeda Stage 1 Handling Package

Steeda @ their Valdosta location handled the installation of all their parts. Jamie did a fantastic job. If you are in the area, I highly recommend letting them handling your parts and installation needs.

I have ordered WORK Emotion CR2P wheels in 20x10 +38 with 'A' disk, super deep concave and 20x11 +45 with 'A' super deep concave. I will be running Hankook Ventus R-S3 version 2 in 285/35/20 and 305/35/20.

Future Upgrades (later in 2015, early 2016)

* MGW Race Spec Shifter - https://www.mgwshifters.com/shifters/mustangs/103
* Lund Tune via Beefcake (TBD)

Hey Todd,

Decided to look at your build when I saw you posting on another thread. I have the same goals of keeping my car NA, I like the stock look of the PP wheels but I'd like new tires, wondering if I could go any wider on the tires as well?

My big Question for you is this handling package. My next mod I believe will be either a shifter or springs/handling kit. I'm looking at just doing some sort of progressive springs, haven't looked into it too much. I am wondering from your perspective, how has the daily drive ability changed from the PP suspension, to this new handling package you have?

Thanks,
Brice

Thanks for looking:thumbsup:

Some folks have gone wider on the stock GT PP wheels. I know of people here on the forum has gone a 305/35 which I feel is a bit wide for a 9.5" wheel. You could likely go 285 with not much impacts out back and up a size in the front to a 265, again, without much issue. My own personal opinion? I would not go any wider on the stock PP wheels for tires but that is just me.

As you see, I have all Steeda suspension parts on my car. I am in love with the Progressive springs. They perform flawless for a DD car where you want improved ride and improved handling at the same time. The ride is much improved over the stock GTPP springs, too. Add the sway bars and you will have a huge improvement in the handling department with improved ride quality over your stock setup. To backup my opinions, I have taken my car on 4 long trips that equal almost 3k miles. This includes an all day Tail of The Dragon run, too. There are absolutely no squeaks, rattles or noises of any kind after doing all my suspension upgrades.

If you are serious about the handling upgrades for your car, give David Jacobs a call from Steeda at 954 718 6515 or email [email protected]. He will be happy to answer any and all of your questions.

Aight then maybe I'll try the 285/265, to look a bit sweeter. Any recommendation on new tire? I honestly don't know much about these PZero's but guys seem to complain about them quite a bit.

Great to hear about the ride quality/performance. I'm autocrossing for the first time on 10/3, I kind of want to autocross it with my stock suspension, before changing to progressives. I also like the lower profile look after lowering the car. In your opinion, for a daily driver, rare track car, would just the progressive springs be a substantial upgrade? That entire package is a bit more expensive than i had anticipated haha and I'm not handy enough to install all of that myself so I'm sure that will add up.

And thanks! I'm discussing via PM with him currently. Just wanted your opinion on your favorite upgrades under $400 ish installed. Not much money to blow until bonus time!

Where they at doe?

Don't tell me I will have my wheels before you?! Mine will be here end of the week and on the car next week.
What???? Are you serious? I finally heard back from Mark and he said they would be mounted/balanced and shipped this week. I assume he had to wait for my 2 rear tires to arrive plus he was doing SEMA stuff before mine. Which I am fine with:D

Mine are shipping direct from the west coast to my dad's place in Cali, they didn't even offer to mount balance mine haha. Actually they forgot about my tires until I told Winnie I should be getting them haha. Arrive on the 9th, should be at my dad's place the following week (forgot about processing time at port)

Can't wait to see yours and compare looks!
