Thanks, looks like they have the indy500 firestone oval for $100/tire right now, may look at the MMR 19 with those squared. still comes out to about $2k, which makes these 20" rims with nittos look pretty good.
Thank you!
Brice
This is my exact install this weekend, along with a bg fluid swap. You still liking the blowfish? i ordered a steeda clutch spring to go along with it, just the light weight one to bring the clutch back fully.
I am doing the BG swap this weekend, along with Blowfish Install and clutch spring install. I am hoping I can get something similar to what you have experienced. How much NVH is the blowfish? I've heard none, and i've heard its considerably louder, just curious for reference. hoping install is...
Buddy helped me to put them on. car looks 10X better. Wheels sit flush, and i love it. Have a vibration (from before spacer install) from a bent rim up front, but once that's fixed shes good as new.
Hey Sagacity, love your car it looks really great. I went through your build thread and i saw...
Excellent, thank you both for the help. spacers will hopefully be on tonight. buying used from a local forum member, but they're Hub centric AM 25mm. now just to get some tape to protect the paint on the back panels!
I'm googling the 3M tape, is there a specific one you use? Getting 1" spacers installed today on my PP rims, wanting to get some protection on the quarter panels before the drive this weekend.
If y'all do a group buy or something for houston, i'm in. Or something. I just dont wanna pay $10 for spring, then $10 for shipping:frusty: but i will if thats the only option.
Hey guys,
Finally got some tax money back. Just hopefully got my blowfish, fluid swaps etc.
Looking for hubcentric spacers that fit the PP GT
Looking for steeda progressive springs
also looking for steeda/MGW shifter
Lastly, looking for louvers, side scoops, anything like that if...
Just Ordered. Looking forward to hopefully doing the swap this weekend, my expectations are high, hopefully the notchiness is gone!
Thanks Optimum Performance
I appreciate the feedback. I may try to get it a little less, and just pay using my "free cash" per paycheck on the blowfish. start a savings for the MGW, didnt even think of the warranty problem. If you say BF is a big difference, i'm in. Then will do MGW in 1 year.
Agreed, i feel like he's built a pretty stand up company. just wasnt sure why people would go steeda over MGW other than the walking effect or whatever. TY for the suggestion.
Yea i heard a lot of good things about the blowfish bracket. Did you install yourself? I was going to try that out...
ahhh decisions!! Okay, if blowfish doesnt do that much, kind of like a bandaid, then i'll go with MGW for a full swap. you experience any walking issues? shifter moving under load? Also is George the contact at MGW?
Yea i was thinking something similar.... but iw as goign to do blowfish and Royal Purple or BG or something. Now thinking just going with MGW
TY for opinion!
The MGW replaces everything even with the new design? they said its smaller or something, easier to install etc.
Really? so the...
Really? how much did it end up costing you to get the MGW installed and working though? I'm looking at a blowfish for 160 right now. but if i could have a MGW in there for around $500 total, i'd go with that option for sure. just need some advice. it sound like thats the general response, MGW is...
