Guess it is time to get my build thread going.

My car was ordered on 5/21/2014 and was built on 11/24/2014. I ordered it through Jeff Greenly @Yocum Ford in Lansdale, PA. This was the best new car buying experience of my life, bar none. Jeff is the ultimate Mustang and Ford performance car nut you will ever find. Sticker price was $45,885. I got x-plan pricing for $42,965.27. At the time of pickup, I received $2250 in rebates. That is a total of $5170 off MSRP. Not bad for a brand new generation car :D.

The plan for my car will be to keep it NA and improve the stock PP handling by investing in better suspension components, lighter wheels and wider tires.

Nice, I think brushed finished will be The Bomb with the Ingot.

Guess it is time to get my build thread going.

The plan for my car will be to keep it NA and improve the stock PP handling by investing in better suspension components, lighter wheels and wider tires. I will also end up with a Livernois tune/tuner and their CAI. That will be coming later in a few months.

I just ordered the following from Steeda this morning.

Stage 1 Handling Package
http://www.steeda.com/steeda-mustang-stage-1-handling-package-2015-gt-v6-555-2122/

Mustang IRS Subframe Alignment Kit
http://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-irs-subframe-alignment-kit-2015-all-555-4438/

I have a contact at a local Ford dealership that will be handling the install of these parts once they arrive. They will also be doing the alignment.

I have done some small mods (non-performance) and will get some of those pictures, etc. posted up today or over the weekend to keep track of everything in this thread.

I am going with the MRR GT350 replica wheels in 19x10 and 19x11. I will be running Nitto NT05's in 275/35/19 and 305/35/19. I am waiting for the final pricing, weight and finish specs on those wheels. That should be forthcoming in a couple of weeks and I will get my order placed for those and the tires.

Here is a picture showing the GT350 wheels on an Ingot GT PP like mine. Teaser photo as I don't know if I will do black or a custom brushed finished. I know the wheel size is a bit off but it does give me a good idea how these will look on my car :D

Hey Todd,

You are definitely off to a great start and have a solid build plan. I would love to see how it turns out!

Let me know if I can be of any assistance along the way, I would love to help!

Anyone know the weight of those wheels? Who sells them? Looks like most of their 20 x 10 wheels come in at 32-33lbs but i cannot find these.

Thanks! Hardy Family Ford in Dallas, GA is who I am going to use. One of their tech's has a new '15 GT PP that he has done a lot of work on already.

Thanks bud! I am torn as I am unsure of how the brushed will look on this style wheel. Waiting for them to post up their samples:D.

I am very excited to get the Steeda stuff on as well. I am going to get it installed before the wheels and hopefully the next couple of weeks.
Nice, I think brushed finished will be The Bomb with the Ingot.
Me too. That is my preference, just need to see samples. Hurry up Carlos and Paul:lol::lol:

Thanks, Will. I will keep you all in mind.
Looking forward to seeing those wheels on your car Todd!
Me too! Can't wait:cheers:

Carlos @ MMR who is on the board is handling these new wheels with Paul from Need4SpeedMotors. Both are on the forum here. Send them a PM and they can give you more info. They should have samples ready to post in another 2 weeks or less. That should mean pricing and final weights will be available as well. Once the samples are done, they are supposed to start taking pre-orders. Figure on close to 2-3 months before the first batch of wheels to arrive.

They are supposed to be light weight. Hopefully under 24lbs for the 19's. The 20's will be a bit heavier but still a good bit lighter than the factory 19" PP wheels that weigh like you said above.

Just bought the Steeda Billet Front and Rear Sway Bar Mounts. Figured why not since the new bars are going in. Might as well do it the right way!

This is at my parent's house in Charlottesville, VA. About 400 miles on the car with my protective "painters tape" frontend cover:D. Worked like a charm. Had zero chips, etc all the way back to Atlanta and 1000 miles of driving in 2 days:cheers:
