2019 Ingot Silver GT/CS

So, I’ve picked up another S550 Mustang. I didn’t really mod my last one (‘18 GT with 10-speed) or the one before it (GT350), but this one is going to be modded quite a bit (like my 2015 EcoBoost); so it’s worth a thread, I think.

Plans for the near future:
-Metallic Blue racing stripes
-GT350R steering wheel
-Wheel spacers
-GT350 shift knob
-E85 tune

The only thing I’m kind of iffy on is the stripe color. I think the blue will look amazing, but maybe it’ll clash with the black GT/CS side stripe and the fact that the interior is all black and red... not sure.

Quick question. Are you going to keep your CS upper and lower grille? I would really like them if you are going to get aftermarket ones for your car.

So-called “eBay” 20mm wheel spacers. No trimming necessary with the GT/CS OEM wheels. I’ve never done spacers before, always full wheel replacements. However, I figured I’d give them a go and eBay spacers seem to work for a lot of guys around here. I’ll see how they do and report back. From the pics you can tell they were at least hubcentric, and they’re made of the same stuff as the “better” name-branded spacers: t6 6061 Billet aluminum.

Did my first oil change at 1200 miles (Pennzoil Platinum 5w-20).

Put in the re-usable Green Filter.

Installed the color-matched rear quarter window louvers.

“New” wheels and tires acquired! In this vid I’m cleaning them up after picking them up, but I’ll be putting them on in a day or two and do a little video for that, too.

I would like to add 25mm spacers to my 19 gt/cs but had issues in the install with the hub studs hitting the original mag wheels. How did you get them to work?
