If you learn how to interpret and use them, they can really helpLOL there are those that swear by arrows and others who don't think they are necessary.

I only mention it because you said that you were hoping one head in the rear was enough. My thought process was if you've already gone through the trouble, what's one more head?I have not had it tested in this vehicle. I always do huge amounts of research before I decide on any purchase, So I could probably set this up in my sleep lol I have all plugs connected in corresponding port. When I bought this kit I actually bought it for my wife's g37 (which was our travel vehicle) I only purchased the quad at that time because I assured the quad would be more than enough to cover that car. Since I have moved to Alabama from Florida I really never see any laser traps except when I travel back home or through GA. My right foot also seems to have lightened up quite a bit (I guess Im getting old) I rarely travel over 80 especially with the 3.73 in my PP, at this point I don't see a need for any additional heads.

Having used both Escort and V1, I found no real value in the arrows. If it goes off, I slow down...but then again I only speed where I can safely assess the surrounding areas without the need of an electronic nanny. In fact, I haven't had a radar detector in 8 years and haven't had a speeding ticket in that entire time.If you learn how to interpret and use them, they can really help
I have had instances where the detector(locator) has gone off with arrow showing behind me. I then knew there was not an officer ahead of me. Depending on strength of the rear alert, you can determine if there is a cop behind you somewhere going the same way, and zapping others. There are many different scenarios where the arrows are beneficial. Plenty of them can be googled.Having used both Escort and V1, I found no real value in the arrows. You seem to drive like I do, as I have just purchased the V1 and have not had a detector for many years... I would usually only do 9mph over the limit. I still find myself driving like that, although it would be nice to know I am better protected in case I decided to romp on the car a little.![]()
Do you have a link to where you got the one with arrows from?I plan on adding this system to help along with my Valentine One. Just got it and absolutely LOVE the directional arrows. Awesome knowing WHERE the signal is coming from.
I currently have a Passport 8500 and I love it. Except the false alerts! Traveling through Ohio, they have a K-band radar gun attached just about every road sign on I-75.I have the Passport 9500 with GPS lockout for false alerts, I have read many great things about V1 but I just can't get over not having false lockout. I would begin to ignore alerts because I would think its just a false. My Passport has probably paid for itself 10 times over.
The Valentine One? Here is the link... best price from them direct:Do you have a link to where you got the one with arrows from?
Yes Blinder and LI seem to be very equivalent systems with Anti-Laser being better in jamming and coverage area per head. This is how I interpreted it, Im no expert. LI and Blinder use preloaded known frequencies to jam LIDAR, Anti Laser is the only system that can read the wave lengths to jam accordingly. This is why the DragonEye gun can get past LI and Blinder, its a variable pulse length gun it constantly changes to confuse the jammer. This is what sold me on the Anti Laser system. I actually already had an order for blinder 905s and called and canceled it. If you watch some of the other videos on youtube with LI and Blinder vs the Dragoneye no only does it not jam the gun, certain occasions it didn't even alert to being targeted at all.Any one have experience with the Blinder HP 905? in this test I just watched it out performed the LI just slightly
Thanks, those videos were very informative.Yes Blinder and LI seem to be very equivalent systems with Anti-Laser being better in jamming and coverage area per head. as soon as the dragoneye gun actually gains adoption, the LSP system from escort will push an update to defend against it. thankfully we dont have to worry about the dragoneye in CA yet either.Yes Blinder and LI seem to be very equivalent systems with Anti-Laser being better in jamming and coverage area per head. There's a lot of information about the system here. ALP is currently the ONLY system that jams every lidar gun in the U.S.
Count me as one of those that swear by the arrows. They are really nice to have so you know where the cop is at.LOL there are those that swear by arrows and others who don't think they are necessary.
