You won't build much boost while free revving the engine. The engine needs to be under load (driving) to produce solid boost. That being said, you should have no trouble achieving 15-20PSI while under full throttle in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear. It sounds like you need to find a new dealership...

A few months back I recall reading about someone with a creak noise from the rear of their car, it ended up being the tail light housings rubbing on the body, and the noise being transmitted through everything. Something to check out at least.

Yes, if I stab the throttle in a turn the tires will spin. Especially in the rain. Because of this, I don't apply throttle in a turn. Does your dealer have another 2016 V6 on the lot you can test drive to compare? Did you take anyone at the dealer for a test ride to show them what it's doing...

Colder temperatures will also cause tires to not grip as well. Are your gear ratios the same between 2015 and 2016? Did your 2015 have the same tires? There are a lot of variables here.

You can just do the spots, it won't be noticeably different other than feeling smoother in the area you use it. I get mine out for touch ups occasionally, and do the whole car twice a year.
