If I were you I'd check with performance car shops in your area. Preferably those that specialize in Mustang's. That is what I ended up doing due to the fact that all the "chain" shops and a few independent ones in my area said my car was too low for the ramp after I lowered it.

I just put new tires (and had them aligned) on my 2020 GT500 yesterday. Did you get a report similar to this?
Dude like 4” of your rear tires on the ground 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️😂. Get those rear tires closer to 0 so you actually out the power to the entire width of your tire. Gt500’s and perf pack GTs have crazy -front and rear camber and it’s horrible for them for going fast u less your legit tracking your car and even then that’s too much negative camber for good grip.

Hi guys.

I took my car to firestone two weeks ago to get my alignment done. After picking up the car I noticed that my rear passenger tire was sticking out(no camber at all/ positive camber).

I returned to the same place an told them that I rear tire wasn't sticking out before. They told me they would fix it but then after an hour they said there was nothing the could do.

Today I went to another firestone and after an hour they told me my car does not have camber adjustment in the rear.

My car is a 2017 Mustang GT Performance Package with lowering springs. Before doing the first alignment both my rear tires were tucked in and now I have one sticking out. The refused to give me a printout the three times with excuses.

Are they BSing me?

Why not just have had Ford do it?

I’m not condoning Discount Tire, but after installing the Ford Track Kit, even they were able to match the Ford alignment specs that came with the kit. No camber/caster plates for me either.

They got all but one measurement, and one was like 0.1 degree off. Would have probably needed the plates to get it perfect.

Hmmmmm…

i've had nothing but great experiences with discount tire. I also had my Ford Dealership align my 350 and they did a great job. Take it to a dealership, discount tire or find a performance shop

He has soo much negative rear camber that most of your contact patch of your tire isn’t even in the fucking ground.. not too hard to understand bro.. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️. Rear tires need to be flat on the ground not tilted in or out.. atleast for drag racing or for overall grip. Only Time you want that much negative camber is legit racing on a track which he clearly isn’t doing lol…

I don’t think you’re totally right here. It’s more aggressive than your average daily driver but for any moderately hard driving you’ll want camber like that. I’m assuming he probably doesn’t go to the drag strip, maybe you are right for that use case

that isn’t an out of pocket amount of camber for other spirited driving though

Yes - because when your rear suspension compresses, the rear wheel moves straight in a vertical direction. For sure.

(this is super heavy sarcasm if it isn't clear)

Nothing wrong with Billk's alignment settings, front camber could be closer side to side, but that's being nit-picky. That rear camber is perfectly acceptable for a street driven car. Not everyone lives their life a quarter mile at a time (sorry, couldn't help myself).

To the OP, 100% find an enthusiast shop around you that does custom alignments, preferably someone familiar with Mustangs. Not sure where you are in FL, but I'm certain there will be several. You just can't trust chain stores like Firestone, Mavis, etc. Most of those alignment techs only have a basic training and understanding of how an alignment works and are more concerned about getting you out of the bay. The Mustang suspension isn't rocket science, but it's not as straightforward as some other "run of the mill" cars.

Will it cost more, yes. But as with other things in life you gotta pay to play.
