I’ve decided to go with R10/R8 as my next pads. How important are the titanium shims at this point in my journey? If I don’t get them now, should I reuse the factory steel shims or install the pads bare?

I finally got back onto the track yesterday after moving my Steeda pedal a little farther from the brake pedal. By the end of the day my heel-toe downshifts were getting pretty darn smooth. Thanks again for all the advice in this thread.

It looks like the J&M aluminum dowels are $40 and the Steeda delrin dowels are $80. Any important reason to choose one or the other?

I might have to just do this as well. You must have a very controlled clutch motion in order for it to work smoothly.
