I think you’re spot on.The car from the side looks amazing. Great lines. Don’t love the teal but you can obviously opt out of that part of the package.
Where this car lacks drastically is the front and rear looks. They just don’t marry up with each other or bring the car together in any way. Like 3 separate cars all mashed together. It’s like some designer just struggled to find a way to make it look different so they threw some stuff at the wall to see what sticks. Also the interior just doesn’t look great either. Lacks creativity and originality.
You can tell by the atmosphere of the marketing push as well that Ford kind of knows its lack luster and they’re pumping it up at every corner. Kind of telling
Look back at the info that was presented when the GT500 was released. They had a cutaway car, a prototype test car, CFD models, sections of the front coolers, etc.
All we have for this car so far is a background graphic at the reveal saying its for a “new diverse and young customer base”.
Not saying its not a good car, but the marketing strategy is night and day.
