When you think you are ALWAYS the smartest guy in the room, the end is near -- it is inevitable.

The ACTUAL smart guys are always looking to pull someone in who is smarter to help them get to the next level.

At what horsepower point does the crank support become a good idea? In the future I’m looking to do a Stage 2 kit on E85. 2021 Mach 1
It's a good idea. I've got a stage 2 P1-X making 860rwhp on E85 and I snapped the crank. Dumbass me didn't have crank support. Very expensive repair bill.

For all the Lund bashing, theyve tuned my 17 both NA and recently boosted and car drives great. Fast response time (usually within the hour during opening time). I'd be more worried to use other big name tuners after all the stories of being ghosted.

Also used Beefcake to order some parts recently. Always been a good experience as well leading up to my purchase. I would share some real experiences if you have used the company before. Everyone entitled to their opinions (Alex included).
Ive been lund tuned for almost 7 years now on my s550. I tried to switch a year back but they could dial my car in and it drove like shit. I would love to switch to a more flexible tuner but im not spending that amount again to be let down.

Lund tuned, no complaints here. Despite hearing how it would be so much more drivable or make so much more power and get better gas mileage if I went elsewhere...

I've got a stage 2 P1-X
I would never use this damper extension on a Coyote. Everyone knows that the Coyote Crankshaft snout is tiny in comparison to other makes. Probably works fine on an LS or HEMI.

My buddy had issues with his Lund tune on his ESS Gen 2 car, switched to Wengerd and has 0 issues now. Alex Flores was the original tuner.

I never had an issue with it. Coyote has same snout diameter as SBC. Nobody ever talks about snout issues there. All blower drives for SBF stick out way beyond any coyote drive. Again Nobody talking about that. Likely snout failures are due to improper torque when reinstalling a balancer.

Yeah, and many people using it haven't had a problem. Still though, the design does not inspire confidence. Hanging that much weight, and the additional leverage that it provides out further from the end of the bearing just doesn't make sense. The stage 2 kit should be an 8 rib conversion, not an add-on piece that introduces way more stress on the snout.

No, never been off. And it's 3 years I've had it, not 2
Any other info? Race everyday? Never raced? 2step? Intersection takeover donuts? Failed while driving sitting in driveway with engine off?

Sure I guess? I've seen whipple and a turbo car break a snout so I suppose it's easy to blame added length on a balancer.
