lol, someone needs to do an antithesis video with a cobra II, a C3 and a porsche 924…you know, for mere mortals, and scienceWow ... I'm a Ford fanboy, but my oh my.
If money grew on trees, I'd have one of each.
It's surprising less weight wasn't a goal at a $300,000 price point. All those carbon panels just to end up at 4,400 lbs..
That 5.5 liter flat plane crank engine is incredible. Makes 670 HP naturally aspirated and the dyno showed the ZR1 version is underrated.Vette had the least amount of downforce, if Vette gets that dialed in........watch out it will be substantially faster. Yea shocked the GTD was ~4400pounds.
The dash thing is a universal truth with top trim variants of ho-hum sports cars. Always has been, and probably always will be.My application for a GTD got denied by Ford. Having said that I feel like they did me a favor. All those carbon panels just to end up at 4,400 lbs....it's like they didn't even try to reduce weight. To pile on, a dash that you can have in a $40K eco boost Mustang is a glaring and blatant bean counter ripoff.
Interesting as they called it the worst street car of the bunch.Sadly, I would take the Porsche over the other two. More refined and a lot easier to daily drive.
Sales plummeted. Camaro sold only 31,000 in 2023. Mustang is on the same path, having only sold 36,000 so far this year, with only two months left.Where are the Camaros and challengers?
