To be honest its not a fair review. The PCar is twice the price and would be my choice but the sticker shock of this car is unbelievable. I bought my first new 997.1S in 2007 and it stickered at $88k, its unbelievable what the run of the mill 911 costs today. After all this isn't a GT3.
That being said, once again a 0-60 in 4.0 and a 1/4 mile at 12.3 @117mph seems lack luster for the power this car has. These times aren't that far off BMW E92 M3 times, a car that came out in 2007. Its hard to believe the PCar only has 443hp, it has to be underrated. Its only 400lbs lighter yet is down 80hp and a ton of torque (rated) and it is just hauling the mail. Only downside as of the print of this article there is no manual yet for the 992.2S, although Porsche promises there will be one later on.
