That was actually what I disliked the most about them. But to be fair, I don’t drag my … across the bolsters on the recaro’s in my cars which makes getting in a little different as well.

Can anybody compare the difficulty factor getting in and out of a C8 Z06 vs a HP Dark Horse?

You can just kinda fall in and I can still get out of the DH fairly well, even with Recaros.

Nice cars and all but no manual, no sale. I still haven't warmed up to the looks either but i didn't like the C7 till it stopped being produced

C8 sits lower than a Mustang, so I’d say it’s a little more difficult. I think the C8 seats hold onto you a little more than Mustang Recaro’s (I’m going off the S550 GT350R and GT500 Recaro’s, haven’t sat in a DH yet), which is great for driving but makes it a little more difficult getting out. I’m probably about average height (6’1”) and it’s not terrible getting in and out of a C8 but I think my Mustang is easier to get in and out of.

auto seat sliding back sure helps along with impressive Mustang seat slider range.

Buddy has a ZO6, I liked it. Not more then my 500 though, he as well. Got to drive a Ctsv blackwing manual, take that over the ZO6 every day. If any of you get a chance drive a blackwing. Amazing car. If I was after a new two door I’d take the ZO6 vert over just about everything else though. Not much in that price range that compares. Beautiful car.
Wish I could drive a blackwing with a manual. Seem like a great family hauler.

The C8 doesn't even sound like a V8.
I agree. I thought it was just me. It sounds like a European sports car. Not a bad thing if one is into European cars but I like the muscle car sound of V8s (Mustangs, Camaros, Dodge etc.)...
That's because it's an 8,600 RPM flat plane crank

It sounds awesome...

I agree 100% about the BWs. The 5 rules with the drama and the 4 is a better size (if you like smaller cars). Both handle amazing for their size and weight. I wish the 4 got NA v8 from the Camaro though. If I were in the market for a commuter I would pick one of those.

I’m waiting to see what Ford’s announcement will be on the next Mustang: Cobra or Boss iteration, power plant, plus cost? If it’s well over $100k I’m going to get into a Z06. The 6MT HP Mach1 is holding me over until then.

A coworker has a 4BW, which I've driven. I looooove that car. But yeah, too bad no V8 although Caddy made the six sound great.

Not going to lie, they are getting so cheap it's tempting.

The double edge sword of Chevy making too many. A) you can buy one cheap, B) it depreciates really fast...
They will be dropping to 100k and the bare bones model z06’s under 100. I saw a message from a dealer on another board that all 2026 Z06 allocations will be ordered 6% under invoice. So tempting. Just waiting for ford to announce the next Mustang so I can set course for the next ride!!!

…cannot lie, the BW is on my shortlist 🫡
My friends son is on his way (from Ontario to Saskatchewan) to pick up his new 2025 Blackwing (it's an auto tho .... kids)

He is selling his 2023 CT4 twin turbo with like 7000km on it if anyone in Canada is looking.
