Not until they put a MT back in. Or at least implement a simulated 'manual' with 3 pedals and shifter that interface to the DCT clutch servos and the H-pattern is directing the servo driving the shifter-forks.

I would be encouraged if GM learned from Ford's mistakes with the Voodoo. Long-stroke FPC was just plain dumb. Nobody is going to wank off to biggest displacement FPC when it keeps breaking.

Ford GT is irrelevant as a 'halo' model because nobody can afford them. Lusty object, sure and I stood 6 inches from one for 20 minutes. But it doesn't change the reputation of Ford's failings at the mundane. Ditto 24hr race wins. Nobody cares since clearly that same QA and dedication doesn't exist on the factory floor which is the ONLY place it matters for the buying public. When Kia and Civics and so forth are better at execution, none of the supposed "laurels" are worth a damn.
so let me get this straight the voodoo is non porn junk. and the GT is irrelevant.....? just because you’re not able to buy one doesn’t take away from the incredible achievement that car is. The fact that a company that’s bread and butter is pickup trucks created it makes it even more impressive.
That said, I guess the Italian tractor manufacturer that built a super car is pretty impressive too..... at least to me. Regardless of what one costs to purchase.

Come on, you and I both know that the engineering and implementation of the 5.2L FPC engine in the GT350/R "was just plain dumb" and that most all the ~25,000 FPC GT350/R engines failed over the last 6 model years.:giggle:

As far as the credibilty of the Ford GT40 and the 2 generations of the Ford GT it is obvious that their race success and values speak for themselves.

To your other point there is no question that the Ferrari brand of vehicles is the all time pinnacle of high performance automotive excellence based on the last ~70 years.

At the end of the day it is very difficult to reason with the very uninformed to put it nicely.
