Needs a fender. Maybe a bumper. Would be nice if they can repair the door without too much fuss. The rest is mechanical. Not too bad.
The door appears to be a few scrapes and some paint transfer so that should be easy. New fender for sure and I think a new headlight, I noticed the DRL didn’t look quite right when I was behind another car on my way home. Front bumper feels a little loose, I’m guessing some of the tabs might be broken. Hood opens and closes and appears to be straight (no change in gap on the driver side fender). I’d be shocked if they totaled it but stranger things have happened I suppose.

I d be willing to bet you, it s not totaled. This is the reason I hate to buy anything more than I have (which I m not complaining) . You can wrap it in all the PPF you want, LOL. Looked at a used gt 500 this week. My brand new, at the timer, Ram was hit while parked. The driver fled.
I agree. PPF and all that other stuff doesn’t protect against other drivers unfortunately.

I put on a set of 19x10/11 SVE DHP1 in Graphite wheels with Firestone Indy 500 tires.

I think they look fantastic, and those back tires are massive.

Any change in gas mileage?

I ordered a set of smoked side markers from American Muscle and they were SUPPOSED to be in yesterday. However, I made the mistake selecting the cheap, USPS shipping and they didn't get delivered on time. Looking at the tracking, they went from Lenexa, KS to Dallas, TX and then to the North Houston Distribution Center. Then for some bizarre reason, they ended in Springfield, MA the day before the delivery date (WTF!). THey sat for two days before the tracking showed they left and were heading for the next stop (which will probably be North Houston again so there's no telling what will happen). I hope to post pics at some point later this week.
Yeah, I hate getting USPS to ship anything. Seems like stuff always gets lots, runs late, etc. Sold some guitar gear to a guy in the northeast a few months ago. Mailed it with tracking number. Took almost a month for him to get it.

Honestly no clue, with the ESS it’s too much fun hitting the go pedal so I don’t even pay much attention to the mpg.

Today was maintenance day for me.

Changed the engine oil out for 5w50 Amsoil, changed the break in oil on the ESS, and installed an Gates HD belt.

End of an era, traded it in. The last year or so I hadn't been that happy with it. Between burning 2 quarts of oil per change and not being able to tune without horrible knock, its been more frustrating than fun. I also had the most inconsistent power ever and I could never figure out why. Sometimes it ran like a raped ape and sometimes it was dogwater and would randomly pull all my timing. I still enjoyed the car overall, but since Im doing more outdoorsy stuff lately anyway I decided to part ways. Picked up a leftover 24 Mav Tremor at a steal ($4,500 off msrp).

Ill still hang out here and no doubt will get another Mustang eventually. Maybe an A10 next time, and in a more fun color...

Sorry to read the car has been traded-in, but I can understand why.

Glad you'll continue to stay and maybe buy another in the future.

Younger gal improperly changed lanes and hit me. Won’t say much more until the insurance companies hammer everything out but she’s at fault in the police report
Well it still sounds like some jumping was involved.

Dashcam I assume?
I installed a dashcam in my GT as one of first things.

And I recently found out that Tesla dashcam scares people into confessing. Had a Merc change lanes into me (similar damages). Was glad I [believed] had multiple angle recordings of it since would be impossible to prove who changed lanes without it. Mentioned to other driver while waiting for police who then changed his story to definitely his fault. And he told the officer the same thing when he arrived and I offered to email the videos to him. Turns out I did not have the USB for the dashcam fully seated and no recordings. Was pretty pissed the car had never given any warning. But learned there is a tiny red dot on the main screen when recoding is active. Seems not much bigger than a single pixel. So glance at that now when starting the car.

I discovered that my #1 requirement from a dashcam is reliability, ie trustworthiness. To be recording as expected.

I had the same situation as you, except a parking lot door ding. I claimed I had dashcam video, but it actually wasn't recording for the 20min that I was in the store! But both the other driver and cop believed me, and that smoothed the situation.

About the only time I have trouble is when the wife ignores a Format message in her car, and drives off without it recording.

I've learned to glance at the dash cam every time I start the car to ensure it is recording......oh, and listen for my radar detector to power on :)

After a little more than six months of ownership, the wheel work that was done by the dealer or previous owner has worn off.

After using a sponge and some touchup paint it turned out better than I expected.

See how long it lasts….I’ll most likely get them powder coated over winter.
