Started the spring clean - got all the upwards facing panels washed, clayed, polished, and protected with consumer grade Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic.

Everyone knows what a shiny car looks like, but I thought these areas might be worth a before and after :

The wiper arms were looking decidedly flat / faded / dry, so I took the TWHC (Acrylic Black) to them, I was surprised at the difference.

Nice.
Speaking of the tips, any tricks on getting them level?
I put long tubes on mine last weekend and adjusted them at least five times, but couldn’t get them quite where I wanted them.

I wish they were connected better at the muffler area to hold them in place.

Installed a BBK 65 mm throttle body. Started the car up and idle was higher than normal, there were misfires and as I backed out of the driveway, a check engine light. Took a drive to see if this would clear up, nope. Got back home and took that POS out and reinstalled the stock unit. All good now.
Any different throttle will require a tune to get the correct mapping for the new part.

According to BBK's instructions no tune is mentioned, only that when the unit is fully connected driving the car for 10 miles will relearn fuel trim and idle.

@WD Pro what did you use on the exhaust tips?
Have a look at these two posts, and the threads they are from :

I don’t particularly mention the T-Cut product on here as I think it’s mostly a U.K. thing (and actually made quite local to me).

I would never touch modern automotive paint with it, but on tool boxes (and exhausts !) it’s really good, it’s dead cheap, and it’s easy to get hold of - supermarkets, fuel station shops, discount stores etc etc :like:

Have a look at the updated clamp options in this thread :

Belt n Braces option would be to either weld fully, or a small spot on each joint to stop rotation :like:

Sorry, it’s Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic (I mentioned the full name further up the post you quoted).

I have the normal one and the black version (for my roof) - I don’t really think there is much difference.

Those products are light duty paint cleaners, polish, and consumer grade sealant / ceramic.

For their ease of use, cost (often on bundle deals), availability and performance, I really quite like those products :like:

A TLDR would have been nice. I read through everything and I think I can conclude to do what I already planned, which is use Scotchbrite to get a brushed finish on my OEM active exhaust tips. Agree?

Had my daughter's boyfriend, who works for a detail place, ceramic coat the car yesterday.

I spent the better part of a week buffing it out with my orbital polisher and using Meguiar's Ultra Cut Compound and then their Ultra Finish Polish. There are better products out there now, but it's what I had and it came out amazing.

With the ceramic coating, it looks better than new. Not a great pic, but the shine is amazing, and very few scratches visible in the sun.

With the stripe install the week prior, I'm in love all over again.

Put in a dipstick for the 10r80. No more hot exhaust burns!

Awesome. Is that a kit that you bought or did you do it yourself?

If yourself, how did you know how long to make the dipstick?

No I bought it on ebay. It's the same one that b&m has but it doesn't have their logo on it. Part number is 22200. It was about $35 compared to the exact same b&m for $260 or so. It's supposed to be for F150 trucks but it will work. Also I have a 12v pump with a semi rigid plastic tube that will go through the dipstick tube all the way to the bottom of the pan so sucking the fluid out before dropping the pan & filling up the fluid afterwards works great.

Ordered 2024/25 date stamped Koni Active Struts and shocks to replace 2019/20 ones that were defective and refunded.

Headed to Katzkins installer tomorrow for repairs to new install bagginess in multiple areas. Made in MX. Fit & finish is very poor. This is my third set of front seat covers now double hex tekstitch. After this it's 100% refund and install some take off OE red covers. Katzkins doing their best no excuses just action.

Stock unit is 82mm, so without a tune there's no way one that much smaller could work unfortunately. I think even the ecoboost one is bigger than that, but I can't remember lol
