Washed it for first time since October. Applied ceramic detail spray and was going to call it a day. Wound up washing explorer and then back to stang to finish glass, exterior trim, interior vacuum, tires and wheels! I'm beat. this is a young man's game. waiting till my 3 yo grandson can take over

Last week I installed FRPP Track springs. I was happy with the way the rear sat after the drop, but the front ended up a little lower than I liked. I figured if I could raise the front about 1/4", it would sit just right.

I started looking around for strut spacers and came across the Steeda ones, but they seemed a bit pricey for what they are. So I decided to design my own spacer and have them laser cut through SendCutSend. I modeled up the spacer in Onshape and had them cut from 0.125" 304 stainless.

I placed the order on Tuesday, and they were delivered today — super fast turnaround and they came out looking fantastic. I installed them today, now the only thing left to do is swap out the top bolts once the new ones come in. Right now the threads are fully engaged, but the nylon no longer contacts properly for the lock feature. I ordered some ARP nuts and will use a little blue Loctite to be safe.

Pretty happy with how everything turned out!

I'm a little surprised you didn't order 4 copies, to give you the option of 1/8" spacing, or 1/4".

I ordered 6 of them. I ended up using 2 per side, 3 wasn't lifted too much, and didn't leave enough threads on the strut mounts for my comfort.

Installed a BBK 65 mm throttle body. Started the car up and idle was higher than normal, there were misfires and as I backed out of the driveway, a check engine light. Took a drive to see if this would clear up, nope. Got back home and took that POS out and reinstalled the stock unit. All good now.

Started the spring clean - got all the upwards facing panels washed, clayed, polished, and protected with consumer grade Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic.

Everyone knows what a shiny car looks like, but I thought these areas might be worth a before and after :

The wiper arms were looking decidedly flat / faded / dry, so I took the TWHC (Acrylic Black) to them, I was surprised at the difference.
