Camber Plates - 2019 GT350R

Hey All,

I was wondering about the Ford Performance camber plates. My R that I just got doesn't have any, and I'm planning to track the car 1-2 times a year.

I have the Vorshlag plates on my GT and they are great, easy up & adjust when I get to the track and when I leave.

I feel like if I use the Ford Performance kit, it creates less issues against warranty claims on my ESP if it's need.

These are the ones I'm looking at. Looks like it doesn't come with any hardware? So I'll need to purchase bolts/nuts?

Well, from the picture all the nuts needed are there
You need to remove the struts and maybe want to replace the 2 bolts per strut

Check ebay. I was able to buy the whole kit NIB for $135

Do you plan to track both cars? If you will no longer track your GT, I would just move the Vorschlag plates over to your R. A hassle, but you already need something on the R anyway.

Also, what max camber did you achieve on the GT? Did you have to cut your shock towers for more clearance? Do the plates slide inboard without hitting the stud heads under the towers? You will need -3.5deg camber, and almost all plates won't achieve that, even with added clearance mods.

I'm just making sure you've done full research on all the little issues, especially since you can run 315's up front if you want.

I mean, if I was choosing I'd pick the Vorshlag units over the Ford ones 8 days a week. I don't see any warranty being denied unless the camber plates themselves fail.

I would not factor in your ESP when planning camber plates. The only "failure" might be the top bearing eventually wearing and becoming loose. That repair is not expensive compared to some electronics module or engine/transmission issue.

Again, I emphasize getting to -3.5deg camber is important.

The FP unit is a good choice. Your GT350R will handle well with the Track settings shown in your owner's supplement, and you can get that with the FP camber plates. For reasons I'm not clear on, it seems like Mustang GT's need a more aggressive camber setup than GT350's.

Yeah I was looking in there and say the recommended settings they had. Looked like the plates they make get there and at half the cost of the Vorshlags. I was looking at the price when I bought them for my GT and they were 545. Now over $700.

Great news everyone I have the ultimate solution....I went and double checked if in fact the original selling dealer put camber plates on the car...they did!!! I checked the driver side and this is what I found....no...no it can't be...@-#($)#

I found something on the track mustang group that actually says this is ok. The only change that happens is that it increases positive caster, which is a positive. So I guess I'll send it
