Hey All,

Looking to see if anyone can provide a high res photo of the connectors on the active exhaust harness for the 2018+ GT. I have actuators but I’m looking to fabricate my own harnesses for this as it’s pretty simple but im missing the part numbers for the molex connectors.

Image below is of the trunk connector showing the numbers that I’ll need for the harnesses.

Thank ya

Not sure how high of a resolution pic you need, but I just went and snapped these for you with my iPad. Car is a 2019 Bullitt, but the harnesses are the same as the 2018 GT.

These are perfect thank you so much! Looks like there’s no molex number on the connector themselves but these pics will help me find the right one. Thank you again!

This may help you find the plug or connector:

(I have no affiliation with the above businesses or know of their business etiquette, just passing along the info).

Here ya go, check this thread out and the attached pdf in it. You may spot the connector/plug in that catalog.

One more thing: Molex (and other) terminals are meant to be crimped onto the wire under carefully controlled conditions. We may be able to get a decent crimp with inexpensive tools but the odds are against it. Soldering is not recommended either.
When did wiring get so complicated? ;)

Thank you sir. Octopart.com is a good one that compares prices for components but you need the actual part number first.

NP. FYI, the harnesses are about $40 each from the dealer if you decide you don’t want to go to the trouble of making harnesses yourself.

Thanks for those links. Something about paying $120 for cables that will cost me $10 and an hour to make doesn’t sit right haha. I work with electronics all day this is why I want to do it myself. The satisfaction I guess.

Things are always getting harder but a challenge is always good :)

Keep us posted, because if you find the parts, your DIY will also benefit others looking to do the same (saving $$$).

I am installing this upcoming weekend. I ended up ordering harnesses. Once those arrive I’ll find accurate part numbers for the connectors.

I’m trying to extend mine from the back to closer to the headers for an aftermarket dump set up. Do you think I could just splice and solder my own wires in?

I wouldn't solder. I'd use good, bare butt connectors, crimping with the correct crimp tool and marine grade adhesive lined heat shrink. Staggering the connections and use proper harness tape. Not plastic electrical tape.
