I know, author, when Michael Crichton wrote state of fear all his foot notes were searchable on google. Now most are broken. NASA wiped their data bases.

Al Gore doubled down on it and now we have a new religion.
and an unrepentant and wildly selfish user of electricity, for his own personal enjoyment.
The guy has no shame at all. You'd think he'd at least turn John the Baptist and wear camel hair and eat wild honey and bees or something. Anything to show he was serious and was setting an example for all fellow travelers to emulate.

The government is already bought and paid for by private entities, so why would they authorize grants for their own demise?
One last post, Government is after power. Climate change is a huge source.

As I was saying before about the magic of the internet, those kinds of articles are never truly eliminated. The Wayback machine and various archival websites keep them forever.

Dig through the deleted charts and make an informed decision.

So are there any credible scientific sources you do trust?
absolutely. The Nobel Laureates who wrote climate papers before the grant system required conclusions to fit the narrative regardless and BEFORE the data was even examined.

Composting can produce methane, but less than those same materials would produce in landfills if they were just thrown away...
After the local council taxed the dairy farmers out of business in my area the county forest preserve bought up about 1000 acres of prime farm land and decided it was a good idea to turn 230 acres of that land into a landfill.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mallard_Lake_Landfill
After the landfill was finally caped and closed a methane power plant was erected. Surprisingly 25 years later the methane was depleted and the power plant dismantled.
Personally due to my lack of knowledge I expected 75-100 years of methane from that massive landfill. For several decades the air in my area was thick with methane gas, hot summer days the stench drifted for miles. Let’s not talk about the ground water contamination and how we are now pumping Lake Michigan water over 30 miles west of the lake pump stations.

That argument I have to give you. I still don't buy that the money is in it, as virtually every business in the world as of just a decade or two ago hated the things that would be asked of them if humanity accepted climate change as real... But I will give you that government overreach is sadly closely tied to climate change activism (which incidentally ties into my first real reply in this topic). We don't all need to be forced to buy EVs, but we also probably all don't need to be rampant consumerists anymore.

The people who will do the most harm to the planet are the Greens. For they know not what they refuse to understand. After destroying villages in order to save them, you'd think they could understand they are doing the same damn thing.

You mean John Clauser? He won pretty recently if I'm understanding properly. There were many Nobel winners before him who supported the notion of MMCC.

I thought those greens didn't do any harm, though, as methane gas isn't a problem, right?

I’ve been in total disbelief over recent years how methane gas is being demonized.
Have people forgotten that the name “Natural Gas” the very gas used to heat our homes and cook our food is actually “Methane Gas” ?
I guess putting lipstick on a pig does work or better yet, tell a lie long enough it becomes the truth.
Let’s not talk about all the coal fired electricity plants that have been converted to Natural Gas…….
UffDa, I need some aspirin and a nap now.

I don't think any informed people have a big issue with methane gas as a fuel (at least relative to many other combustible options... far better than coal, for example). Methane is only a significant problem when it is a waste gas released into the atmosphere, which I thought you yourself were even suggesting in your above anecdote.

BTW, thank you for boosting my reaction score @Bob Lob Law!
