Here's the repair. It's hard to get the camera to focus on it. I may try to shave the resin a little bit with a razor blade to see if I can minimize it a bit more. It's not driving me nuts...yet.

Installed a Drake Alcantara steering wheel. By far the 2 hardest parts were getting the air bag off and routing the wiring harness on the new wheel and making the heat element fit in the OEM rear shell. They don’t give you an element that has the length they show in the video on Holly’s site.

Shout out to the Mrs. She really was a big help on this one! Sometimes you just need four hands!!

EDIT 4-14-24 - Ever finish a job that’s buttoned up and performing to spec, but you just can’t shake the thoughts of what you know could’ve been done better? After 4 hours of sleep running it through in my head, I tore the whole thing apart today and re-ran the harness and heat element. The heat element is the booger. Nothing like what’s in the video and I’m a visual learner. NOW it’s done. And done right! Nobody else will ever know what’s different. But I do.

Cleaned the summer wheels and added a coat of ceramic to them.

Awesome job! how was the installation?
It was really straight forward. I just watched a couple of YouTube videos on removing the rear bumper 👍

I’m happy with the look and not having to cut anything or lose the reverse light (as with the Ford Performance version).

I still need to do the front, and that will require a little bit of cutting on the front grill. I’ll have to wait till I have a free Saturday afternoon for that one so I can do it right.

Finally changed the trashed fender liner. Still have to do the driver side. Installed SPL front endlinks. Removed washer bottle(every pound counts). It makes space for future trans cooler radiator. Moved to 18s and had Pirelli DH scrubs mounted.

I didn't know these existed and they are way more affordable than I thought. My garage only has so much space though lol.

The stand makes it so much easier to clean the wheels.

I am pretty sure I bought it on your recommendation a few years ago :)

How do you like the wheel stand?

I know the feeling...fortunately if fits in the space between the two garage doors.

Had a fun track day at Rockingham Speedway, NC.

Set up the Garmin Catalyst I got - I like it. Lots of cool tools to breakdown the laps. Ended up with a fastest lap 1:11.97 and a whole lot of brake dust haha!
