Installed freshly balanced front wheels, and removed the rears to get balanced tomorrow. Removed and re-installed my Steeda lower rear toe links, this time right side up with the factory adjust lockout plates.

(Note: when buying aftermarket rims with 'free balancing and lug nuts' you get what you paid for. Count on needing to buy Gorilla Nuts and re-balancing.)

Oh, and I gave it a hug.

Annoyed that at 13K miles the buttons with zero wear fall to pieces without me touching it.
I'm going to call BS on this one.

A: Yours is the 1st complaint about the buttons I've seen here.
B: My car is 4 years and 40+K miles old, with heavily used buttons, the car sits outside 24/7/365, and they look brand-new.

I'm assuming you've obsessively applied some "protectant" to the steering wheel buttons and ruined them.

First time using a ceramic spray on and have to say it looks better with it. I know it’s nowhere close to having it ceramic coated but wanted to give it a try.

That’s entirely your prerogative. The fact is I’ve done 2000 miles since I got the car, the car now has 13k on it so the previous owner might have been a ham fisted monster!? I’ve only ever use cruise control a couple of times and as I was putting it away for winter I could hear a rattling and when I investigated, the button was broken and loose. You can’t buy the buttons separately that I could see so I bought a new switch unit and it was a pain in the ass to get the airbag off. I don’t intend on trying to mess with it again haha.

One broken button? Why didn't you write that? It sounded like all your buttons had fallen apart.

I've had sticking buttons but not to the point of needing hammering. I had to carefully spray electronic lube into the assembly which fixed it over a couple days without disassembly. I had to be careful to use something that wouldn't degrade plastic. I've been there. In that case I used a strong citrus cleaner. Oops! For those who have sticking buttons (not saying this is the situation here) I can say from experience...fix it don't force it.

My bad. Just one leg of the cruise resume button snapped and it fell off. I never apply anything to steering wheels or pedals, my cars never get dirty enough to require it. I understand now how what I wrote caused confusion.

A most underrated, yet satisfying piece of maintenance.
I just had the low wiper fluid light come on. I didn't think I used the wiper fluid that much. I thought Ford would've topped it off when I got my last oil change by them.

Both of my Fords seem to mysteriously lose wiper fluid even without using over a month or two. I've never had puddles, so I'm kind of baffled. It's not a great deal missing but has kept me on my toes ensuring they are full for when needed.

Maybe it's the secret to the Coyote!! The windshield wiper fluid is 3 parts NOS 1 part wiper fluid. The line splits off into the fuel line and is injected into the fuel system. No wonder the Hellcats with 200+ more HP can't beat the Mustangs!🤣

Methanol evaporates pretty fast, so its probably a slow leak from somewhere that you haven't found yet.
