So it’s now on the battery tender, and these have just gone in :

Air freshener and ???
Both are chemical dehumidifiers.

The small one is disposable and for the trunk.

The big one is reusable and uses disposable (well, they turn to water) blocks.

The only reason the big one is sat in a pet bowl is I found that if the block freezes, parts can break off and when they do, they land in an area that drains outside the unit, rather than into the water tank :like:

Rebuilt brake system completed today. Also replaced front sway bar bushings and mounts, all rotating assembly fluids and started FTB kit

Used my Ford Pass points and bought me an early Christmas present for the winter slumber :) Still a little wrinkly but fits really well..

Delivery day. Bullitt lower grille and black grille emblem. Will get them cleaned up and ceramic coated this winter. Nice little project to look forward to this spring, will just pull the bumper when I change out my winter wheels.

Where did you get that and how much? I wanna do the same. It's so silly how it doesn't match from the get go...
Why?.. surely that can't be great for the suspension...
I don't think the suspension cares if it's unloaded, but it does help the tires not flat spot if there's no weight on them

Got mine from Tasca. Took 2 weeks to get here even though it was in stock but they had the best price. $160 before tax & shipping. Shipping was $29, not bad considering it came in a huge box.

Thank you. Let me know how bad the install sucks.

Put air in them and they wont have flat spots.. I have never raised the car up in all the years of storing my car for winter, have not had an issue once with flat spots or anything tire related.

Yeah, I don't think 6 months is long enough to cause real issues, especially if you fill to 40psi or so. But I was just conveying the thought process as to why people do that.

LOL will do. Won’t be till spring though, I refuse to lay on the cold concrete. CJ Pony parts has a good install video for the whole FP Bullitt style grille. I’ve watched it several times, install doesn’t look terrible, just tedious with all the tabs that hold the grille in.

Regarding that car on stands, I've never done that either but if the poster wants to continue I'd suggest lowering it so the wheels are touching the ground so the suspension isn't so extended.

You'd also have hardly any weight on the tires too so win-win if you're worried about flat spots.

I invested in a small rug to put down while working on my car. I mainly didn't want rocks and dirt to dig into my head and back anymore, but I bet it would help combat cold concrete, too. Just waited for the back to school clearances and got it super cheap.

I’ve got the Ford Performance track mat and it works well. I just don’t like working in the garage with the door hanging open when it’s 30F outside. I’m too old for that shit 🤣

Fair point 😆 I'm not disappointed to no longer be dealing with the single digit (and below) winters of the Midwest.
