What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Defo a long slow burner, but the first piece of my front end project is done.

I didn't like the finish and logo on the big mouth, so it got some sanding work and it's just come back from fresh paint ( @compprep ) :

Old finish on top, fresh paint on the bottom (same area) :

Next bit, but technically I can't start on this until the 25th as its a Christmas present from Mum & Dad (I will take another photo if they wrap it ) ...

• Strip the powder coat.
• Towing eye mount.
• Active cruise radar mount.
• Threaded holes for loom mounts.
• Maybe, a hidden grill badge mount ...
• Fresh powder.

Then the front can come off so those parts can go in, along with the Ford Performance lower Bullitt grill, and hopefully the PP2 splitter (although I think I can add the PP2 splitter later / without removing the front end ?)

Had the vinyl stripes replaced and the hood vents wrapped by Tint World, it turned out great !

Took an impromptu mountain run through wine country to the lake with a local Audi group and crashed their holiday party.

There were some nice vintage coupes and several newer, more advanced/powerful models. There was one RS7 there that was awesome. They all got torched in the mountains though.

You had no choice but to leave them in the dust. In some jurisdictions you can be charged with attempted suicide if you knowingly allow an Audio 5000 anywhere near your back bumper.

Installed a permanent battery tender connection pig tail and pulled the front two new wheels/tires for re-balancing in the morning.

Iconic silver is almost my favorite Mustang color. It's a dark silver that pairs with dark colors really well. Very nice.

Got my passenger door and fender painted after some A-Hole keyed it in the grocery store parking lot. Also tried to damage my winter tires with dull knife but never succeeded. I parked it in the same place as bait but the perp didn't bite.
