I never knew that Autozone offered a used oil drop. I have to check that out
I've been dropping my oil off at autozone for 23+ years now. Depending on the store, you either give them the containers of used oil for disposal, or you pour it yourself into the holding tank in the back of the store.
O'Reillys does free disposal as well.

What oil and filter are you DIY bros using. My 1st horse, it’s 2019 GT. I have used KN filters in my ‘11 Raptor with Motorcraft syn.
Honestly I would highly recommend using the OEM filter till your warranty is up by either time or miles. I've heard of a few shitty dealerships not doing engine repairs under warranty because someone used an aftermarket filter which is so fucking ridiculous to me but I was told that story by a customer in here for service with another car at one time. Ford dealer would not warranty their engine on their new diesel pick up so the customer had to fork over like 20 grand for a new engine. They blamed it on the aftermarket filter which I highly doubt caused an issue.

Been using K&N oil filters on mostly all my vehicles. So easy to remove with a 1" nut. I mostly use Pennzoil ultra platinum (cause it's cheap on Amazon) and Royal purple in all my vehicles.

I normally take mine to my buddy that works at a shop. Have the peace of mind taking it to a friend and can get under the car and see whats going on for myself and helping my buddy out by paying him a couple bucks.

How do you guys feel about Motul oil? A guy at the track recommended that when he found out I was using Mobil one.

I do I myself.
I’m fortunate to have a four post lift, and I give the waste oil to the DPW on the hazardous waste collection days for their waste oil furnace.

Motul is good....but so is Mobil 1.
I wouldn't get hung up on the brand. Change it frequently and use what you like.

I normally try not to get caught up in the branding. I choose 1 good oil and stick with it for the life of the vehicle.

Oil changed in my garage every 5K miles like clockwork on all my cars for 30 years, well over 100 times:
Recurring costs:
$32 for (2) 5-quart jugs of Kirkland 5W-30 full synthetic
$12 for Motorcraft filter
$3 Ford twist-on drain plug
$1.16 per Miller Lite 16 oz can, ice cold, quantity varies
$0.22 dog pee pad
$0.10 pair of nitrile gloves
One-time costs:
$51 Rhino ramps, pair (car clears, not lowered, pricey race ramps unnecessary)
$16 pair of wheel chocks for rears
$11 for 16 qt drain pan
$6 oil filter wrench
Used oil dropped off at Autozone for free.
So about $48 per oil change.
You forgot to add the soap and water charge for your shower afterward.

Also, Tylenol for my back  (actually lying on a concrete floor face up helps)

Autozone, Advanced Auto, and I even have an Oreillys down the street from my house that takes mine :)

That said, I take mine to my trash and recycle center when I haul off cardboard and trash. They have a bucket but the little old man there wants it to take home and give to the farmers to burn stumps :). He loves the 5 quart jugs. The advantage of living in a large rural agricultural county LOL.
